Stade de France.

England the big favorites.

80,000 swing low fans will lift them and revenge on the previous tournament.

France took a lot of effort from the Springboks.,

I'm not taking this one for granted at all.

England have had an easy run in, but they're due a big performance.

Our coaches will have to sit down and plan very carefully. England aint France, totally different gameplan required.

Absolutely. I trust Rassie and Jacques will prepare appropriately.

England are a very different beast. Lots of hot-heads in there (Genge, Farrell, Itoje). We have to go after their scrum and lineout.

England will suit the Boks a lot more that France. I am cautiously optimistic.

I'm not a gambler (on Saturday I got an introductory offer of 50:1 on Ireland to win and although I felt sure they were going to progress I didn't take up the offer)

However, looking at the odds for both semi final games, I won't bother posting this on both threads, you have to spend £9 on New Zealand to win £1 and £5 on South Africa to win £1.

Arg and Eng literally have the odds stacked against them.

Stop with this nonsense. England are rubbish. 40-50 point Margin.

An easy draw and a tendency even when shit to progress into the knockouts is the only reason we are in the semifinal. We are a far worse team than France or Ireland with many players past their best. Argentina are more likely to beat NZ than England SA.

This. Whilst there is the potential for a Lawes-led yeomanlike rearguard, I doubt that this England team have the discipline to do it and fully expect us to be playing with 14 for a good portion of the game. It has the potential to be a very humbling evening from which the coaches will learn precisely fuck all, and blame it on the negativity of the fans or something.

You forgot the 36-0 drubbing by SA at the start of the 2007 WC.

People have been saying that for a couple of years at this point. We don't have a big performance in us.

Competitive matches make for a good spectacle. Wouldn't be surprised to see some empty seats for the semifinals.

There were plenty of empty seats at both Marseille games. Interestingly only about half the hospitality boxes were in use

Yup, that small middle tier was quite empty.

Capacity is 67k and there were 61k+ there yesterday, a few more for the Welsh game iirc.

The semi finals will likely be even less big-wigs attending now France is out.

They’re fortunate that whilst we’ve waved goodbye to probably the two largest fanbases it’s a nice short hop from London

I was quite positive that we would beat France, am slightly less positive about beating England.

They play ugly rugby.............................much like we used to.

Also, our players must be exhausted after playing against France.

Indeed. I hope we haven't already played our final, the way England played theirs against NZ in 2019.

I know we shouldn't be thinking about the final already, but the battering that Eben, Franco, Kriel took was serious.

England undefeated; basically playing at home. Fresher and with a point to prove after the 2019 disappointement.
Boks dropped a game, spent our load against France.

England heavy favourites.

Christ you guys are reaching. Just look at the bookies. There's only so much mockers can take.

Just as long as you aren't insufferable about acting like you're achieving something when you beat us.
