Very true. Its about real rugby culture after taking a loss.Gumboot wrote: ↑Fri Oct 20, 2023 5:33 amNeither of those past victories is of any consequence tomorrow.OomStruisbaai wrote: ↑Fri Oct 20, 2023 5:26 am Look like the French got past the B&I Lions sour grapes
In South Africa we take that kind of behavior very serious, murder threats is part of day to day life.
Do you agree with Sexton behavior after losing against the All Blacks? Real rugby culture is to fight a war on the field but having a beer after the end whistle go.
It’ll make the stronger and more galvanised as group.
Circle the wagons lads. You’re in even my territory for 1 more days!
(Obviously a bit more concerning for Bok players based in France who have to go back home after the tournament, like the Reinach family)

Should I remind you of SA behaviour last time they lost to France ?
You are dull sard ...
You're not even going to catch sardines
I think the players deal with it all just fine. A few immediate post match emotional comments notwithstanding, there always seems to follow photos of them all having a beer and moving on.OomStruisbaai wrote: ↑Fri Oct 20, 2023 7:43 amVery true. some supporters on the other hand...
All the money you made will never buy back your soul
I watch both sports. I would say rugby has got worse and football much better so the gap isnt really there anymore just that football is watched by far more people so with the same proportion of dickheads you will have more people being dickheads. Such threats aren't new and aren't purely NH.

Thanks for that AF. Great watch. We won the WC in that quarter final.
