Good luck Sards. I am sure that it will be a huge success.Sards wrote: Sat Sep 19, 2020 1:05 pm I am vokked...exhausted...
It's not easy running a business and setting up another startup at the same time. Especially when your business is busy.
All I can say now is thank vok....
We just completed 3 days of training for the staff. It went very well. Our menu is simple which helped a lot. And we managed to get some really experienced staff so that helped a lot...our grillers are top notch. Our packer is a bit slow but it will get better with experience. Our prep is perfect. The tellers know what they are doing and my wife will spend more time with them.
This all came on because of Covid so that's the positive....
Monday I am at my job and the missus will be prepping for our official opening on Tuesday. Tomorrow I just manage a touch up crew and then its done...Tuesday I will be there as standby for the equipment but I see no issues after the training...equipment was perfect and my layout worked ... that's all I was worried about.
Wish us luck for Tuesday lads and if in the area pop in for a visit...marketing will start from this afternoon after we decided we are ready.
.
P S. This has been an incredible journey...so much creative juices flowing. So much to learn. As I have been saying to my clients that have been watching with interest....I now know what it means to be on the other side.
P.S S....My house and garden look like shit....
Cheers Fangle....this morning I am literally bone weary...I weighed myself and I am down 5 kgs from when I started...but I had to force myself up and prepare to go back to the shop for the touch up crew....sooooo looking forward to a weekend offFangle wrote: Sat Sep 19, 2020 3:27 pm I’m impressed with your drive, Sards. Don't knock it if you don't understand it. Come to think of it, you won't understand it if you only watch the high lights.Big Nipper wrote: Wed Sep 23, 2020 11:51 amIndeedaverage joe wrote: Wed Sep 23, 2020 11:35 amOnly boring cunts follow motorsport.

Hardly surprising Handyman enjoys braindead sports, considering his diabolical cricket knowledge
Minor correction but handyandy is watching bikes not carsBig Nipper wrote: Wed Sep 23, 2020 12:17 pm What is there to understand about cars going in a goddamn circle
Stop embarrassing yourself, you have enough this week with defending Malherbe's physique

By Jupiter, I can't think of anything more boring than watching cars going round and round and round...ad infinitum.
Definitely agree. Give them weapons or some shit like that and I'd watch though.Bokkom wrote: Wed Sep 23, 2020 6:22 pm Horses for courses, but I am on Average Joe and Nipper's side on this one.

No surprise that a sport at the peak of technology, involving statistics and split-second timing would be too complicated to keep the attention of you slow, Boer types.Lemoentjie wrote: Thu Sep 24, 2020 9:57 amDefinitely agree.
