Which recommend Sony WF-1000XM5 followed by Honor Earbuds 3 Pro - both rate very highly. I have no experience of either - I got this from the Which website review of earbuds - as I have Apple AirPods pros but Which reckons both of these are as good as Apple for quality for sound. Their budget option which still rates highly is SoundCore by Anker Space A40 at c£70.

PS I have a Which membership

Beats are known for their bass-accented sound both for cans and for buds. They can be pricey, though.

What's your budget? Wired or wireless? What's your usage? Because if it's something like listening to free Spotify via a streaming service, you don't really need to spend much. There's a cap on how good that audio experience can be,

I've been using Sennheiser CX300 for years as an every day pair for years with various digital media players. They were in the £40 - 50 range when they first came out, but you can usually pick them up for substantially less these days. Obviously you can go crazy with spending on headphones, but for being out and about where there will frequently be external noises trying to get past the noise cancelling and when you don't necessarily want anything too valuable on your person to be lost or stolen they're my favourites.

Not a massive user, but occasionally like to get a dose of loud music without waking the house up... Went for some in the 25 quid range after looking at the ones recommended, similar spec so should do me..
