As has been said elsewhere, you hope it's just him being a drunken dickhead and not early signs of CTE or similar.

Took the first taser like a champ, superb

As has also been said elsewhere, the police should have passed him a rugby ball and he'd have dropped it and fallen over.Hal Jordan wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2024 8:40 am As has been said elsewhere, you hope it's just him being a drunken dickhead and not early signs of CTE or similar.

Was there something with him before being absolutely plastered? Might have been Dublin after an international?
Various folks said he didn't drink when the evidence suggested that he definitely did.

I understood he was teetotal until his mid-twenties, and although I'd almost joke he's making up for lost time I think it means he's not really learnt to control it given he started drinking in what is ultimately a very boozy environment. It doesn't encourage moderation.
That was my first thoughtHal Jordan wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2024 8:40 am As has been said elsewhere, you hope it's just him being a drunken dickhead and not early signs of CTE or similar.

He has form for being a non-drunken dickhead on the pitch. No reason to believe he'd be less dickish while on the piss.Slick wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2024 10:10 amThat was my first thoughtHal Jordan wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2024 8:40 am As has been said elsewhere, you hope it's just him being a drunken dickhead and not early signs of CTE or similar.

I think it was a The Good, The Bad and The Rugby interview he did a while back where he said he didn't drink, then started, then went back to not drinking because of how he was with it.Uncle fester wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2024 9:35 am Was there something with him before being absolutely plastered? Clearly that hasn't stuck.
I watch far too many police police videos, guessing one of the leads didn't impact his body. But wonder if, on the second attempt, he did a dead weight flop like some do? That's a big body to go...

Family are very religious aren't they ? The "Teetotal" stuff might be for parental consumption more than anything else.JM2K6 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2024 3:26 pmIirc Alex Goode was claiming that Billy was teetotal despite the photos of him coming out of a club in the morning clearly pissed as a newt. Floor is covered in broken glass, probably the reason the police were called in the first place.
Willie John would approve though.
