The jury have made 4 requests regarding detail of testimony from David Pecker and Cohen...

suggesting, perhaps that they are trying to clarify intent.

Nah, this is just the warm up prosecution; there's bugger all chance of prison time, & it was always the weakest case.

I'll keep the Champagne chilled even if the traitorous piece of shit gets convicted.

My initial thoughts are that he'd get off, but by reaching a verdict I presume it means it's unanimous and not hung?

I can't see all 12 agreeing he's innocent.

Fingers crossed, anyway.

yeah, I have a feeling it's going to be guilty & on all counts, as it's all one underlying act

Well, it would otherwise have been a total waste of Democrat time and effort in ensuring that there could be no other verdict.

Exactly what has he done wrong. Surely paying a hooker to shut up and not talk to media is between he and his wife and not a legal issue?

It doesn't really matter materially.

One of the consistent patterns is that polls have showed that any, repeat, ANY, felony conviction leads to ~9-10% of voters (who are likely to vote), not voting for the Traitor !!!!

Yanks might be rightly ridiculed for the last few years, but fundamentally they believe in their systems, & this is devastating verdict.

Paying the hush money is not the issue. The issue is that he paid her out of campaign funds and falsified his campaign accounts to cover it up, which is fraud under campaign finance laws.

You are making the assumption that Trump actually slept with the floozy.

This is SOOOO important !

If the tightfisted cunt had just used his own money; there would have been no crime, just a personal expense; instead he just couldn't help himself, & used money that wasn't his, & that's what made this a criminal offense !

I mean, who really gives a fuck about this?

It seems a total storm in a tea cup. An accounting error, assumingly on purpose but when you boil it down, the average voter won't give a shit out of which account the money came from.

His voters already knew he's a sleazy bastard that has been banging hookers anyway, and they still love him. So can't see much materially changing as a result, unfortunately.

Point of order. Biden is the sleepy one and I did not make any guesses that Trump could in fact "get it up".

It’s going to be interesting. This is from those in the know the weakest of the cases against him and while a bit of white collar fraud may be brushed away the classified docs are not a joke - there is a long record of serious conviction for this which can be easily challenged if Trumps judge is too lenient on him.

Given that Florida widely restricts the rights of felons to vote, does this mean that the Orange Buffoon will not be able to vote in the November election?

Some nice ammo during the campaigns / debates to say "convicted" and throw back at them their supposedly cherished "law and order" values. (Even if many say 'rigged', you have to think that some sane die-hard Republicans will wither... at least not vote for him?)
