Still quite like Gelant, quality player wouldn't mind him at the Sharks at all. Maybe not suited for test rugby, hasn't played his usual game in the caps he's got. Higher quality than Libbok imo.OomStruisbaai wrote: βSat Jun 08, 2024 8:26 pm I hope Libbok played himself out of Springbok contention. He can join Gelant on the sideline.
Nah, lets cut all the Stomp front rows after that display.OomStruisbaai wrote: βSat Jun 08, 2024 8:29 pmYou leave out the most important player in the Bok team. You are probably a back?
I played wing and backrow, mostly wing. A poor man's Pierre Spies.

Top 4 stood up and got to the SFs. Next week could be quite interesting.

The final 4 feels about right, & it reflects the incredibly close competition so far.bok_viking wrote: βSat Jun 08, 2024 8:46 pm Top 4 stood up and got to the SFs. Next week could be quite interesting.
It's anyones to win, & the home advantage could/should be crucial.

Leinster vs Bulls will be the third test.
Munster will retain their title.

Thatβs a fair point.
I havenβt been able to watch this much rugby in a weekend for a while, itβs scrambled me

Well done Leinster. Don'r think you's had to get out of 2nd gear really for that.
It wouldn't have mattered in the end, but might have made it more interesting, but what the fucking fuck was Brace thinking not giving the pen try and YC before HT? If its a penalty, its a pen try ffs. 2 yards out and the maul going forward. Shocking leadership from Ulster tbf, not one of their players even challenged the shit call from what I could see.
But yeah, men v boys in the end. A lot to be optimistic for next srason for Ulster. Ritchie Murphy has been quality so far.

It does look promising. Just send the guys off for a few weeks holiday, & have a good pre-season, & build on the good work from the last couple of months.Jim Lahey wrote: βSun Jun 09, 2024 4:48 am Well done Leinster. Don'r think you's had to get out of 2nd gear really for that.

Watched the game with my Ulster supporting mate yesterday and we decided to bring our boys over for the Edinburgh game next season. Looking forward to it!fishfoodie wrote: βSun Jun 09, 2024 8:47 amIt does look promising. The SA teams will be much better prepared for next season. CC starts in July -September meaning we will start the season match sharp.
I seem to remember you saying that last year.OomStruisbaai wrote: βSun Jun 09, 2024 10:16 am The SA teams will be much better prepared for next season. CC starts in July -September meaning we will start the season match sharp.

The Springboks will again rest after the EYT and during the 6 Nations. The URC franchises have players not playing on a regular basis, maybe this lot plus the younger u21s can play CC. Problem is the sponsors probably want the best players.
I see Dobson has come out swinging at the match officials.

Arrogant Stomps got their come uppance.
Vok them. Slating other players from other franchises. Acting like God's gift to rugby.
Couldn't even beat the weakest of the top 4. They had a dream run in to the finals and they are getting no trophy this year.
Sharks 1 , Bulls 1 , Stormers 0

Oh. And Manie had nothing to do with it.
On fb they are having a field day with Manie....0 percent kicking stats.
No wonder the Bulls and Sharks let him go.
Time for Sasha to leave that shit show and come to the Sharks

You beat teams thats been at the bottom of the URC/GPS log like Zebre and Gloucester for the Sport Pienaar trophy. Ended 13th in the URC.Sards wrote: βMon Jun 10, 2024 10:44 am Arrogant Stomps got their come uppance.

It was all for nothing.
The whole country is laughing at the Stormers
Clickbait headline - he really didn't. Said Glasgow played better but not to the final margin. Nothing to see here.assfly wrote: βMon Jun 10, 2024 6:37 am I see Dobson has come out swinging at the match officials.

Christ, the SA supporters are so awful that we are here defending one of their coaches for being fair and level headed.GrahamWa wrote: βMon Jun 10, 2024 3:32 pmClickbait headline - he really didn't. It's a lot easier preaching that with a W under the belt. Stormers were dreadful.Slick wrote: βMon Jun 10, 2024 3:45 pmChrist, the SA supporters are so awful that we are here defending one of their coaches for being fair and level headed.GrahamWa wrote: βMon Jun 10, 2024 3:32 pmClickbait headline - he really didn't. Oh my word.....someone tell me how long this is going to last.
Dobson is not as popular as you think amongst the supporters. But apparently very popular with the players.
As soon as the franchise got some financial backing questions were being asked about getting in a new coach. He is going to be the DOR. But questions are being asked about his loyalty to the players. Why did he preserve with Manie when Sacha has a great strike rate?

And in great news Marcel Coetzee and Marco Van Staden will both be available for the Bulls vs Leinster. That's a whole heap of experience. A robust 8th man and a out and out fetcher.
Bulls chances just took a boost.
All us Saffers must get behind them

I watched Stomps v Glasgow as an unbiased neutral, and decided afterwards no Stomps can be picked for the Boks.
I will now fully support the Bulls.
