Well, according to someone, he's not convicted yet, so I'm waiting until that's actually been ratified by a judge before passing comment. Needless to say if I were an American voter, I definitely would not vote for him if that happens.David in Gwent wrote: ↑Tue Jun 11, 2024 10:38 pm No comment on Hunter Biden then?
One wonders how'd you all be reacting if this was Trump Jnr.
Things are about to start unravelling very fast.

Now, ask yourself how you'd be acting if this was Trump Jnr.
I know how'd you'd be acting, because you're all insufferable hypocrites.
The reaction would be much the same if DJTJr had been found guilty of an offence that only 0.09% of reported cases ended up being prosecuted.David in Gwent wrote: ↑Wed Jun 12, 2024 9:32 amI didn't say he'd been convicted.Insane_Homer wrote: ↑Wed Jun 12, 2024 6:19 amWell, according to someone, he's not convicted yet, so I'm waiting until that's actually been ratified by a judge before passing comment. If it was Trump Jr, I'm pretty certain we wouldn't be posting links to measured, articulate, humane tweets by his father, if that's what you mean,

Man - Biden has shown his true colours by refusing to accept the ruling of the court. He has spent all his spare time just squealing about how unfair everything is and that it is disgusting that they are punishing Hunter just to get to him. Biden has no respect for law in the US......disgusting.

Bidens fund-raiser Hollywood bash is coming up.
This won't be Trump's 'smelly Walmart shoppers' ponging out the place. The attendees are gonna be your kind of people ... the creme de la creme A-list celebrities, the chosen ones; the anointed.
Oh, to be there on the night. To be in the very same building as the self-appointed masters of the global populace. To be there, sitting at their very feet, as they issue their global decrees and dictates. To be breathing the very same air as Hollywood's finest; America's most elite of the elite.
The night's gonna be an absolute blast. Cackle and her hubby gonna groove, and the bearded black lady(?) in a dress gonna sway to the beat alongside them.
C'mon everybody ...
...Clap your hands!!! ...
Let's all hit the floor and dance The Biden.

Nothing wrong with being concerned about the 'elites'. Mind they'll be spitting feathers when they see who the GOP have sat atop their party
I have convoluted on ignore so haven’t read his blurbling but if it is a criticism of some group of elites supporting Biden, then we can easily talk of Drumpf calling in a large group of corporate bigwigs and billionaires so he can ask for contributions to his campaign with promises of policies that directly benefit those elites.Rhubarb & Custard wrote: ↑Sat Jun 15, 2024 10:31 am Nothing wrong with being concerned about the 'elites'. No surprise at all that one significant pledge they’ve made it to lower tax on wealth and corporations.Kiwias wrote: ↑Sat Jun 15, 2024 12:14 pmI have convoluted on ignore so haven’t read his blurbling but if it is a criticism of some group of elites supporting Biden, then we can easily talk of Drumpf calling in a large group of corporate bigwigs and billionaires so he can ask for contributions to his campaign with promises of policies that directly benefit those elites.Rhubarb & Custard wrote: ↑Sat Jun 15, 2024 10:31 am Nothing wrong with being concerned about the 'elites'. Trump will of course spend more than Biden.
So much for the ‘fiscal conservatives’.

Good job Donny....

WASHINGTON (AP) — Donald Trump on Saturday night suggested President Joe Biden “should have to take a cognitive test,” only to confuse who administered the test to him in the next sentence.
The former president and presumptive Republican nominee referred to Texas Republican Rep. Ronny Jackson, who was the White House physician for part of his presidency, as “Ronny Johnson.” The moment came as Trump was questioning Biden’s mental acuity, something he often does on the campaign trail and social media.
“He doesn’t even know what the word ‘inflation’ means. I think he should take a cognitive test like I did,” the former president said of Biden during a speech at a convention of Turning Point Action in Detroit.
Seconds later, he continued, “Doc Ronny Johnson. Does everyone know Ronny Johnson, congressman from Texas? He was the White House doctor, and he said I was the healthiest president, he feels, in history, so I liked him very much indeed immediately.”

IF IMMUNITY IS NOT GRANTED TO A PRESIDENT, EVERY PRESIDENT THAT LEAVES OFFICE WILL BE IMMEDIATELY INDICTED BY THE OPPOSING PARTY. WITHOUT COMPLETE IMMUNITY, A PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO PROPERLY FUNCTION! Without Presidential Immunity, the Presidency will lose its power and prestige, and under some Leaders, have no power at all. The Presidency will be consumed by the other Branches of Government. THAT IS NOT WHAT OUR FOUNDERS WANTED! WITHOUT PRESIDENTIAL IMMUNITY, IT WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE FOR A PRESIDENT TO PROPERLY FUNCTION, PUTTING THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA IN GREAT AND EVERLASTING DANGER!
Odd that you're the only one to be indicted...Maybe it's because your the criminal....
It is odd that he is not aware that a system without presidential immunity seemed to have worked quite well for the first 45 presidents.TB63 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 16, 2024 8:49 amIF IMMUNITY IS NOT GRANTED TO A PRESIDENT, EVERY PRESIDENT THAT LEAVES OFFICE WILL BE IMMEDIATELY INDICTED BY THE OPPOSING PARTY. https://x.com/Acyn/status/1802103783817 ... DiIXQ&s=19Trump: The problem with the Army tanks like cars and like trucks, the problem is that you would have to bring a battery pack along. You're going to pull it like a little wagon, like a child pulls a wagon. So they want to build a army tank. But, you know, the battery is very big

Someone has obviously gotten out the sock puppets & they've explained to him that the SCOTUS will probably rule on the immunity idiocy next week, & then, if they can't delay any further, ~80 days later, he's back in Court in DC raking over he coals of Jan 6th, right before all those GOP Candidates & he himself go for election.

I'll put my hand up and admit I'm not a Jack Black fan at all, I'm sick of the sight and sound of him doing that thing he does everywhere and every time he does everything...
so maybe that's why I'm not seeing the overwhelming power of the strongest endorsement of Biden this cycle or the demolition of Trump there.

Insert the name of any major musician or actor/actress and that almost exactly expresses my sentiments.Guy Smiley wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2024 4:21 am I'll put my hand up and admit I'm not a *... *.... fan at all, I'm sick of the sight and sound of him doing that thing he does everywhere and every time he does everything...

Oh, I thought it was a fairly weak endorsement, but kinda funny (and was the caption trying to be funny or just bad clickbait?). I wondered if the zealots would go against him for desecrating the flag with his overalls, while conveniently ignoring how their own kind wrap themselves in it too?Guy Smiley wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2024 4:21 am I'll put my hand up and admit I'm not a Jack Black fan at all, I'm sick of the sight and sound of him doing that thing he does everywhere and every time he does everything...

I think this was the event hosted by Jimmy Kimmel featuring Biden and Obama?
CNN has finalised the rules..
Von Shitznpants will weasel out of this...
Also, there will be 2 breaks for adverts when they can get relief, but not talking to any advisors..There will be no opening statements. President Biden and former President Donald J. Trump will each have two minutes to answer questions — followed by one-minute rebuttals and responses to the rebuttals. Red lights visible to the candidates will flash when they have five seconds left, and turn solid red when time has expired. And each man’s microphone will be muted when it is not his turn to speak.
