Von Shitznpants will weasel out of this...
That could be either of them
Biden would miss it only if his advisors made him do so. I think he would love to be on stage with Drumpf.

EDIT: I suspect that your point was that Biden also is so old that he probably needs adult diapers. I would not be surprised at all if he does wear them.

After speaking to 8,000 supporters, in a Black church in Detroit, most of the 200 were white, Grumpy goes here to speak..

The traitor had another rally yesterday where he couldn't remember the name of the POTUS !!!

..... you know, the guy he's running against !

Lets see if he turns up for the debates, or his team decide that it's better to look like a coward than to show the voters just how fucked up he is.

Is this another one of his attempts to compare himself with JC?

I've been assuming if he took his shirt off we'd see a corset with fat leaking out at the edges, and it'd help explain why he finds it so hard to move around, sit or stand from a seated position like a normal person

The first debate has just started, and fuck me Biden looks and sounds like he's on his last legs. Trump appears almost youthful in comparison. Yikes!

Agree that Biden looks tired and his voice is not strong. Trump is bloviating as usual.

He doesn't need to do much more at this point. Joe doesn't look like he'll last till November. Not making much sense, either. Just grim to watch.

Could you see him going "Sure, I guess I'm too old for this... " and some young buck steps in at the last minute?

Does Joe still have to get confirmed at the Convention in August?

Yes, he still has to get confirmed, so technically they can change

No doubt the equivalent of the Praetorian Guard will decide (the donors).

Biden and Trump are essentially the end product of the gerontocracy that is the US Senate. Average age is 64, I believe.

trump has won this - independent voters will not turn out for Biden and even the RINO's will suck up the stink and vote for trump.

Democrats are a terrible political party - Biden has been a surprisingly effective President - but he is too old for a second term. Dem's should have been planning for something else to run for this election once they won in 2020. Now - it feels like they need to put in a 'no hope' - like Harris - and take their medicine with a single term trump and hopefully a blue majority in the House.

Then throw everything behind Newsom or someone else that is competent?

All I know - is that 2025 through to 2029 is going to be a bag full of crazy.

It confirmed what we already knew: that Trump is a blaggart and a liar, totally without scruples or principles and that Biden is an old man, luckily one who will continue to have excellent and qualified staff in key positions.

Should Biden stand down? In an ideal world, yes, but it seems unlikely that this will happen.

Biden is so clearly not up to it, the stresses of a campaign will take years off his life and could kill him, I don’t think that’s totally beyond imagination.

Must admit I zone totally out of US politics so I hadn’t heard Biden speak for at least two, maybe three years. My god he’s gone downhill.

And these lapses will get worse and worse the more tired and stressed he gets.

It’s unkind on a human level to encourage him to run and it’s madness on a global level given who it hands the Presidency to on a plate.
Old men forget: yet all shall be forgot, But he'll remember with advantages, What feats he did that day

100% everything here.

Also, can you imagine what he is going to be like in 5 years?

Is Obama allowed to come back?

That wasn't good for Biden at all, nor Crump who should've been fact checked live to shut him up..

Fuck it, someone throw Raskin a bucket of cash and get him up there...

If he doesn't stand down and he doesn't win then he's just a bloke who rolled out the red carpet for Trump, that's his entire legacy. Sadly those in his position tend to be more than a little sold as to their own worth

Raskin impresses me more than Mayor Pete when I see him. The latter can sometimes seem a bit smug (and rightly so when owning Rep idiots; Newsom a bit Trumplike in his ‘slickness’) but Raskin seems incredibly confident, too, yet entirely likeable to a broader audience.

Seems like the party is in full meltdown after they belatedly realised what their own base has been telling them for some time

Raskin isn’t known enough from the general population, and this is a big problem at about 4 months from the elections, he was my US Representative when I lived in Montgomery co., now is my state senator and doing a good job.
Newsom will be the best bet right now to beat DT but he doesn’t feat in with the old democratic party leaders.
