Confused me for a minute there because Freddie's not on the pitch (even though his surname is Steward, so many refer to him as Stewart), prop's name is spelt Stuart.
I'm not sure Dan Cole is going to be any less of a liability in a game of this pace.

Painful to think that Marchant's in France and Slade's pulling on an England jersey in his stead.

Finn Baxter's getting around the park well.
What's a 'getting' and why has Finn got one?

Smith trying to start things but our backline is pretty impotent so far. Oh yes andnFurbank looking useful.

Abbreviate apostrophe, not possessive. I know it's early, but come on.PCPhil wrote: Sat Jul 06, 2024 7:42 amWhat's a 'getting' and why has Finn got one?

First time I've heard the player being injured used to rule against a knock on.

Superb defensive set, brainless from NZ and we should go in all square

Level at the break is better than many England tams have managed, hopefully we can keep up the energy in the second half.
Wouldn't mind seeing Freeman move to 13 in place of Slade and bringing Sleightholme onto the wing.

Look, if you're going to pick Farrell, it's all well and good having him hammer into tackles and rucks, but kicking good ball away and missing an easy kick is not what you want from your 10...
Slade having a legendarily shit game but everyone has scrambled pretty well. Loving the Martin and Underhill tackle twins, Jesus Christ. Wings not having a great time so far. Furbank doing really well.

England need to thank Rassie for their defense system. Working a treat.

Expect the All Blacks to break free in the second half. Usually when the game open up.
They aren't showing any signs of being able (or allowed) to do thatOomStruisbaai wrote: Sat Jul 06, 2024 8:03 am Expect the All Blacks to break free in the second half. Usually when the game open up.

Love that Feyi-Waboso's instinct was to run closer to the posts. A lot of wingers are happy just to flop over in those positions.

He'll slot this one
