But I was right. That was very close, and we were on the end of a couple of 50/50 calls.
I am saying that over and over, Kwagga is probably the best impact player in the world, no matter which position he comes on. But starting him at 8 or even 7, as they used to, just doesn’t do the trick. I would also like to see Roos start, bring Kwagga on later.assfly wrote: Mon Jul 08, 2024 6:18 am The main takeaway for me was how different we played. Like Os says, seeing PSdT flying down the wing was not something we would have done last year. I felt that the added width also left us a bit exposed in the tackle, which is why Ireland got so many easy turnovers (anyone have the final stats for turnovers, I only recall us getting one jackal through Marx).
Overall I think everyone in our team played quite well. It was only Kwagga who probably didn't have his best outing, I'd be inclined to start Roos and get Kwagga off the bench. I though Sous was excellent, his workrate is simply incredible.
Kriel was outstanding again, he really seems to have notched his game to a higher level since being given the 13 jersey.
I don't know what Am is going to do to get that jersey back.boere wors wrote: Mon Jul 08, 2024 8:24 am Kriel has become an outstanding rugby player. He proved us wrong at the RWC, when we were all lamenting Am’s injury. What a tournament he had and now just continues with that form. I watched the boks office podcast with Kriel a couple of weeks after the RWC and was quite impressed, really humble and well spoken guy, proper team man.

You constantly excuse this type of behaviour by saying things like “ahh it’s our culture to be a bit shit, so what do you expect”.![]()

Yes. Clear-cut concussion. We (as in a lot of teams) seem to be regressing at how we apply HIA protocols.boere wors wrote: Tue Jul 09, 2024 7:53 am Was Henshaw the guy that collided with Kolisi?! That looked like a concussion, he was disorientated, couldnt believe he wasnt sent for an HIA

Probably want to put the series to bed. Can experiment against Portugal the week after.

On the good people of Botswana.

Indeed. We are a very sensitive and humble nation.
Oh I hope so.
