England are shite but by christ NZ have somehow managed to be fucking awful. Dismal levels of utter wank.

What is this 'attack' of which you speak?

Poor pass from Earl absolutely killed Lawrence's momentum there.

How the feck was that not called in the first tackle from the lineout, for not rolling away and slowing it down. It's been going on for a while, but that one was a killer and so obvious

So he lets a blatant slow down by not rolling away, but then pings the ABs for that? Balances things a bit I guess...

England need an attack coach, that was shit, god awful slow and nobody seemed to have an idea what they were supposed to do.

Smith doing some good stuff but still trying too hard sometimes.

Don't worry. Better men than us have been trying to figure it out for years.

Has one of the coaches told Steward that he's a running, attacking full back?

Wasn't much he could do there, no time to kick, had to try and run. I'd be asking more questions as to where his support was

Just doesn't have the speed to evade. Furbank evades the tackle and starts a counter on that.

I thought there were 2 faster players who had run behind him to give options. Anyway that's what led to the try.

The others covering the back field cannot stand off or even go wider like that when Steward gathers the ball. They need to be closing the gap almost before he gets the ball so that they can clear the inevitable ruck as Steward just doesn't get past the chaser.

Steward is too slow but fuck me he doesn’t help himself by not having proper studs

No. Steward never had any gas.

BB playing better this week than last week. Faster service from the halfback is helping

EDIT: should not have kicked that one

My fear is we now bring on Spencer, and have even less in attack.

If you're not ahead by 20 with 20 to go against NZ, you're losing the match.

I’m liking the pace that Cortez has brought to the NZ attack. He’s given us a new gear.

Can we stop trying the grubber and keep the ball in hand? We’re one point behind!

We’re shagged, in touching distance and kick away all our ball. Ffs, play some phases, kick a dg if we need to
