Let's be fair, the Sharks are MASSIVE favorites.
They have class all over the park. They know how to win in New Zealand and were the de facto Super Rugby Champs having topped the log.
With a backline that includes Nohamba, Bosch and Ward they will score tries at will.

Sure, just a pity their last game, NOT played in New Zealand, left them looking, shall we say, a little shell shocked. But yes, man for man, they must be favorites. Superstar Nohamba will dismantle the Lions defence singlehandedly.Chilli wrote: ↑Mon Oct 05, 2020 2:13 pm Let's be fair, the Sharks are MASSIVE favorites.

Half the Lions in the 2015 win are on their way to becoming grandparents
Missing nKosi, Mapimpi and Fassi....thats our potent back 3 , as well as AE in the midfieldChilli wrote: ↑Mon Oct 05, 2020 2:13 pm Let's be fair, the Sharks are MASSIVE favorites.

Sharks have got the talent, tactical nous, and a blend of youth and experience. Along with their reputation as 'the greatest team in Africa', one must count them as major favourites.

But seriously, believe they have a point to prove after the Bulls.
very disjointed. Like they only just met each other. No class in the back 3.‘tsek wrote: ↑Mon Oct 05, 2020 2:48 pmSounds about right!Lemoentjie wrote: ↑Mon Oct 05, 2020 2:45 pm Sharks have got the talent, tactical nous, and a blend of youth and experience. I believe the phrase you are looking for is 2020 Super Rugby Champions*. And now with Super Rugby dead, that means we will be Super Rugby champions* for eternity.OomStruisbaai wrote: ↑Mon Oct 05, 2020 6:16 pm The Sharks supporters arrogant talking about S15 winners , vok me. So in fairness the team playing from Deben should just be called "The Eternal Super Rugby Champion Sharks"assfly wrote: ↑Tue Oct 06, 2020 6:29 amI believe the phrase you are looking for is 2020 Super Rugby Champions*. Not so confident...I think the coaches got a major wake up against the Bulls believing that their very talented youngsters could gel and form the deadly attacking finishes that made them Super Rugby Log leaders for eternity....without the likes of Fassi , Nkosi and Mapimpi....
I just don't buy into the youngster at 15....would prefer Mvovo........

Talking it up? Boet, that's just how it is. By consistently performing year after year for decades, almost a century, we've earned that right.
Don't let me post the history of rugby in South Africa again.
Springboks, Stormers and WP supporter.
