At least post a highlights video if you want us to buy into the hype FFS.

Good work and welcome to the love-in. He is starting on the weekend against the Wallaby captain and current openside flanker, whose pay is more than a million dollars more per year. It is gonna get ugly.

He's a monster now. Seems to have lost most of his puppy fat and was 100% mongrel when he came on against the Bulls.

The Reds backrow of Wright, Wilson and McReight gives me a slight stiffening, I have to admit. A great mix of smesh, ball running and jackalling.

I mean, look at this scone! That's our captain, by the way.

That's a bit sad - would you like a referral to my physician? He is very urbane.

I'm gonna make my wife take the kids out of the house for a couple of hours, have a nice long bath and get in my Reds dressing gown for this.

We all need a little "me time"

Pity Rodda is gone. Reds would have a pretty good pack for the next few years. I never understood why RA gave Tupou a huge contract and not Rodda.

Because Tupou would be in the top 5 props in the world right now. The guys is seriously good.

Anyway, how fucken good was my pudgy boy McReight, hey?

Yeah he was decent but the Tahs are tarts.

If I had a mega contract to give an Aust forward that is not Michael Hooper, it would definitely be given to Rodda.
The problem I have with Tupou is that he'd always be coming against players bigger than him and the attrition rate will diminish his real strength - ball carrying.

Rodda was on big money. $650k plus match payments. He’s not worth that and Australia has a load of kids to spend this money on instead.

And can someone please show me all the bigger props that Tupou will face? I can’t think of many that are close to as big as him.

Good game from him.
Proud to say I’ve been backing him since Day 1 👍

Looks to have benefitted from the local kebab shop being closed over lockdown as well given the size of his gut in the pic above.

👍. The scary thing about Tupou is that he’s going to keep getting better. He’s an absolute unit.

Tupou, Petaia, McReight..... and?

There is a precedent for it, when NZR gave their player of the year to one, but I don't think WR are quite ready to give their most prestigious individual award to a woman yet.

Should probably strap those down with a training bra on game day

He needs to get rid of that Churchie floppy haircut.

Then I’ll take him seriously.

Also, he needs to string together several consecutive impressive games against good teams*. Until such time he's just the most recent on a long list of fellas being talked up because, since age fifteen, they were the first picked for the first fifteen at St Wretchpokes or wherever.

*Hence not possible in the Strayan SR comp
