Trev did it better. Director Fat Fransie has decided to rather go play with the Kiwis.

My favourite part about all this is that poor Sharks fans have such an inferiority complex that even when they are in the final and WP didn't even make the playoffs, all they can talk about is us

They so wish everybody would give them respect, but it's the desperation and the "look at me daddy! look at me!" energy that is so off putting. Even with all they money and star players they are still so insecure. "Look daddy, I'm doing a handstand!". Meanwhile the other 3 finalists' teams and fans don't even care. They were just trying to focus on themselves and get the business done.

Nothing from the Lions, Sharks fans obsessed with WP. It's hilarious.

Between WP and Bulls we have won the majority of all the Currie Cup finals. It's good to see in recent times that the minnows teams like the Pumas, Sharks and Cheetahs also get their hands on the Cup. It's great for the competition that smaller unions also win the cup, it gets quite monotonous if it's always just WP or Bulls. Pretty much like the URC, the Stormers and Bulls on top, Lions mid table and the Sharks bottom feeders. In fact the Lions are third best on the all-time Currie Cup rankings, so they know what it feels like to win the Currie Cup. So let's see if they can do it again this weekend.

I honestly don't think about the Sharks at all, unless we are playing against them ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I might watch the final, or I might go for an afternoon hike. Still deciding.
I didn't watch a single CC match all season, so missing the final isn't a big deal for me.

Looking forward to the Boks and can't wait for the URC to get going again.

Unfortunately it has been the same for me this season, I had very little interest in the Currie Cup, it really does feel like a 3rd tier competition now and that is very sad. Barely watched any of the games unless it was on tv while I was busy doing something while the tv was on. My only interest in the previous seasons was watching the Pumas win as that was my Craven week side and my dad used to play for them in the 70's. So it was really nice to see them actually win the cup. But apart from that I could not be to bothered with it anymore. It does not feel like a cup that anyone is desperate to win anymore. Whereas I am also really looking forward to the URC and of course any bok game.

Ref balancing it out nicely 3 marginal pens that could just have easily gone the other way and Lions score twice...
