Libbok, Malherbe and maybe Deon Fourie will be available against the champs.

Saturdays Stormers match is at Stellenbosch , Craven Stadium.

Dobson on Gaza
“He was really good, wasn’t he?” Dobson said. “We get crucified for playing Damian in different positions, but he is such a strong team man. He will never sit there and ask us to choose between him and Warrick Gelant at fullback. He is all about being wherever the team needs him.

“Today, he was really, really good. He went down with a knock to his pec, but he said he wanted to keep playing. He is an extraordinarily committed guy and an absolute treasure.”

He was shocking in the internationals. Wasn't impressed at all

We won. A URC match. After last year, I'll take any win however it comes, especially against the defending champions.

Now watch the BOK-LADEN® Sharks go flying up the table.

Good team, bloody great team by Scottish standards, but winning away in SA is hard. I'd be happy with another 2 bonus points tbh. They'll get enough points in their remaining games for a top-4 finish surely.

Agree with you Cloggie. Oom, don't know where you are seeing that the handicap is with Stormers at -7 with Paddy Power.

I,ll never underestimate Franco Smith. He started with Shimlas (uni of Free State) and know Craven Stadium better then most.

We got very hot weather at the moment and game starts at13h45.

How does knowing a stadium make him a good coach?

Following on to this, Everett should never coach a losing team at Kings Park.

Try to tell you he have good knowledge about Stellenbosch conditions.

He won the urc last year so obvious he is a good coach. Kak coaches underestimate the URC.

Glasgow and Stormer players visited Kylemore. Edwill vd Merwe and Herschell Jantjies grow up in Kylemore.

R365
Upcoming URC opponents the Stormers and Glasgow Warriors joined forces to give back to the community of Kylemore in the Western Cape on Tuesday ahead of the two side’s upcoming clash in Stellenbosch this weekend.

The outreach is part of the URC’s Communities United campaign where clubs are encouraged to engage in cross-hemisphere community activities who travel North and to South Africa.

The aim of the outreach is to engage with the local community in aid to educate the local fans on travelling teams and their players.
Players such as Grant Stewart, Patrick Schickerling, Alex Samuel, Ben Afshar, Duncan Weir and Stafford McDowall of the Glasgow Warriors and Herschel Jantjies, Ben Jason Dixon, Neethling Fouche, Manie Libbok and Damian Willemse of the Stormers took part in this exciting project.

The local kids of Kylemore Primary and Kylemore High School had the opportunity to participate in a coaching clinic presented by the various players – rubbing shoulders with their local and international heroes which will inspire the next generation of Vodacom URC talent in the years to come.

“It’s been a busy welcome, we didn’t really know what we’re coming into but it’s been a nice welcome,” said Duncan Weir of the Glasgow Warriors.

He added: “It’s been a nice welcome, obviously everyone is quite happy to see us here and it’s nice to be around the communities a little bit.”

“It’s an amazing place isn’t it, when you look around you see the mountains in the background and to see such a nice welcome,” said Glasgow lock Stafford Mcdowall.

“I don’t think we’ve ever seen such a lot of people welcome us to a school like that before which is definitely cool.” Mcdowall added.

Kylemore Rugby Club with a signed jersey as a token of appreciation while the Stormers provided tickets to all the kids that participated in the outreach to the upcoming match between the two URC heavyweights this weekend at the Danie Craven Stadium in Stellenbosch.

The midfield will be a good test. Huw Jones sure played some rugby for False Bay and UCT on Craven Stadium. Nel should be in 13.

Bulls got an all important win last night. Today is going to be challenging for all the SA teams. Sharks have the easiest one.

Weather is going to be windy in Stellenbosch.

Stormers unlucky not to be further ahead. Under pressure now without Libbok and Willemse. Going to be a tough struggle.

Much better seeing a South African game in a smaller stadium. It’ll be a much better atmosphere.

The maturity of that Glasgow team is pretty unbelievable for a seasoned Scottish rugby watcher - they're supposed to wilt under the pressure at some point as per, and they simply don't. Instead, they go up a gear and never look like they're in trouble. One of their best games of recent years for me.

And 7 points from the SA tour is pretty good going - some of the top table contenders will drop more on their tours.

That was a good win by Glasgow. The Stormers were really bad, especially at the end.

Has Dobson ever been to this stadium?
