The winger scored four tries in the win over Fiji, but failed a head injury assessment (HIA) after being replaced in the second half.

Head coach Gregor Townsend confirmed Graham has failed his subsequent HIA tests and will miss the visit of the world champions to Scottish Gas Murrayfield.

He said: “Darcy unfortunately failed his HI2 and his HI3, so he'll be ruled out for this weekend."

That's a real shame. Jordan at FB and Kinghorn to wing?

I think a big part of playing SA in an attitude and mindset thing. Keep yourself in the game and capitalise where possible. I haven't seen a huge amount of Jordan but part of this selection is the man rather than roles.

Just popped over to the pub and had to listen to some drunk Irish cunt telling the whole pub how shite Scotland are and how dare Scotland players talk themselves up before a game, ESPECIALLY IN DUBLIN!.

Shouted over to him “have you lot always had such thin skin or just after your 100 years of being shite”. Stopped him for a bit but he was back on it as I left.

Should have asked him when they were going to win a knockout game.

That always causes a meltdown with these pricks.

From the match thread - who are our guys who should have one eye on next summer for the Lions

Yeah, we need to figure out which players are

Box seat / near first choice
Russell, Fagerson Z, Kinghorn, Van der Merwe

Serious contender for test side
Tuipolotou, Schoemann, White, Graham

Looking to get in the squad
Ashman, Cummings, Ritchie, Fagerson M, Jones

My opinion, definitely some argument there, and I'm on my sixth pint so may have fucked up.

Ten years ago we would only have people in category 3

I reckon yer Man Farrell will be licking his lips over Russel and van der Merwe, and Schiemann and White strike me as his kind of players. Don't think he'll fancy Kinghorn much tbh. Ritchie is right in his wheelhouse though.

Centre is highly populated with candidates and depends what Farrell wants, I reckon. Kinghorn could equally well go on the wing - I think hell end up on the bench covering FB, both wings and emergency 10

Tom Jordan could be a bolter.

More of a long shot is Harry Paterson, but I really like how he plays.

You'd think that the players who are nailed on so hard for the test side that it would take a large jemmy to get them out, or injury, would be Gibson Park, Lowe, van der Flier and Doris.

I would hope Finn is near that category, I think van der Merwe is there too.

Centre for the Lions will be interesting one. I would go with the Irish and Scottish pairings - Aki, Ringrose, Tupilotu and Jones - with perhaps Lawerence battling with Henshaw fighting to be in there as well. The English and Welsh midfield choices have been pretty awful and pretty limited in what they do.

Ben White. Can't mind which English team he played for now but is at Toulon. Been first choice a few seasons.

A near 20 minute film on Darcy Graham's recovery. It give a good insight into what these guys face on long rehabs. He talks a little bit about the mental side, that must be at least as tough as the physical recovery.

I reckon Lawrence and Slade played themselves out of Lions contention today, both played somewhere between shite and shite with bells on! A lot of other English players must also be shitting themselves after today's display.

FFS. Just found out that tomorrow’s game is not available to watch unless you have TNT. Seriously unimpressed.

Scotland. Always the sideshow, never the main event.

Aren't all the games in this series only on TNT?

There must be a nearby pub that will show it?

Yes, all games on TNT. Unfortunately Sunday 4pm is prime Kevball, so not easy finding a pub to show Rugby.

There isn’t even a nearby pub.

I didn’t realise all the games were on TNT. We’ve somehow arrived at a point where you need a subscription to watch the Scotland football team play in Scotland, but you can watch England play on council TV, so I have some residual anger about this and probably made assumptions.

Unfortunately I’m not in a position to head out for a couple of hours this afternoon. I was going to record the game on Sky and watch it back later. Ah well, we’re probably getting beat anyway

I think it’s a mistake to take these games off free to air, it alienates current fans and has no chance of attracting new ones. I guess the short term return outweighs long term goals for those in charge. Perhaps the covid shortfalls and the rising costs for everything is a big factor in the decision? I don’t know

You can't watch the England autumn internationals on council TV. You are maybe mistaken that you can watch the Welsh Language coverage of the Taff games as part of the welsh language law or sumit. England Rugby League has been on council TV recently though.

It was announced in April that TNT were going to cover all of the Autumn games.

Ah right, apologies Yr Alban. We've got to a place where no one wants to pay the fee the associations/unions are asking from the FTA channels. Its rubbish but someone has to pay for the wages the players/coaches now demand.

I've just seen that you can get discovery + for four quid a month which includes the rugby - I'm going to go for that, I'm currently paying £18 for TNT sports via Virgin

oops, scratch that, no it doesnae - it's £30.99 for the TNT rugby - apologies

TNT did the deal and it was annouced in the spring.
This the way the 6N will go sooner rather than later. BBC already weighing up whether they can afford to compete in bidding against the likes of TNT or Premier Sports

Yes, the twats that be decided in their infinite stupidity to not add the 6N to the Crown Jewels list earlier this year.
Seriously? Fuck sake.

Soz, it was a year ago
In November 2023, it was ruled by the UK government that the Six Nations Championship would not be added to the ‘Crown Jewels’ list of sporting events that can only be shown live on free-to-air television.

edited to add, "free to air" is not free - we pay a license fee for BBC and we pay the cost of advertising on ITV/C4 on the products we buy

Scotland. Always the sideshow, never the main event.

Aren't all the games in this series only on TNT?

There must be a nearby pub that will show it?
There isn’t even a nearby pub.

I didn’t realise all the games were on TNT. We’ve somehow arrived at a point where you need a subscription to watch the Scotland football team play in Scotland, but you can watch England play on council TV, so I have some residual anger about this and probably made assumptions.

Unfortunately I’m not in a position to head out for a couple of hours this afternoon. I was going to record the game on Sky and watch it back later. Ah well, we’re probably getting beat anyway
Annoyed me too, did succumb and spend £30 odd for a month subscription. Irritating, but it's not that much money in the grand scheme of things, and you get all the autumn games (live/on demand) without resorting to a dodgy stream. Maybe ask around to see if someone you know has subscribed.

To be honest I have some sympathy for the unions of those one. The FTA channels have had a free run at negotiating for years and now can't/don't want to pay a market value. Players need paid, stadiums need maintained, grass roots always needs more money invested, etc.

It wasn't all that long ago the SRU literally couldn't give away rights to tour games to BBC Scotland.

Wales have a guy called Blair Murray in their squad, I mean, that’s just shameless poaching.

These gun shield sensors aren't set to a low enough threshold. The Radrandra hit deemed high force, which it was, yet no HIA?
