Williams on for Moodie if he keeps dropping everything? Split always seemed unnecessary, especially with Kwagga starting

Stupid by white. Got asked to use it then decided to get another player in instead. 7 seconds between the call of use it and the whistle going.

That was a tough call against Scotland. He was using it but Estebeth stepped up a mile offside and put him off.

Yep, dumb. Would expect from England more than Scotland.

Scottish defence doesn't know what they're doing out wide, two players essentially sweeping the same position

He’s converted it though? I thought the review had to be done before the conversion.

This way slows things down further - really bad look on the game.

Average play and poor refereeing in this match.

SA have been as poor as they’ve been for a while, bar the odd moment

I hope Rassie gives the team a good rollicking. That was even worse than the game in Argentina. Kwagga really bad together with Moodie in the backs.

I can see kwagga and eskom being subbed around the 50 minute mark.

It doesn't slow it down, that's the point. It allows them to have a short shot clock while the TMO checks things in the background and has a decision he can hand to the ref. It's basically the same as having TMOs check high tackles etc as play continues rather than stopping the game every time to have a look.

Still our scrum. Scotland try to avoid it.

Regards the croc roll, unfortunately the new rules are that if you roll a player and fall on his leg, the protocol is to treat it as a dangerous tackle similar to head contact.

For me it should never have been more than a yellow but those cards might happen more for a while until players get used to it. Glad for the 20 minutes being there for this as it would have been really harsh to be 14 men for the whole game for that.

Has there been one red card for a Croc roll all year?

Just wanting Scotland to show they've taken a step forward and not to crumble, loosing by 30+.
