More entertainment in 10 mins of a UBB game than the entirety of last night's matches.

Fre teams really are going to have to learn how to better deal with Irish side's illegality at the breakdown
- over the top and sealing off
- illegal clear outs beyond the ruck
- in the side
even if it means continually getting into the ref's ear about it.

That is one of the stupidest yellows I’ve ever seen

And Moefana needs to f**k off to the Federales. How TF Galthie keeps selecting him.

Moefana should be gone for that.

No real drop in height, no attempt to make a legal tackle. Red for me

And yet it's yellow only. I give up trying to understand these decisions. Will be interesting to see if he gets cited because, per your points, it seems to have the hallmarks of a clear red. The involvement of another player is surely only relevant if it changes the tackle dynamics and this case it didn't.

Total lottery based upon the ref, TMO and the relative position of the earth to the sun as far as I can tell. Given up trying to rationalise it, likely it will have quite an effect on this game

And when he has tried tackling legally this half, he's been a revolving door. I really don't get it. Galthie claims he's there for his solid defence and yet we rarely see any such thing and he offers nothing in attack. Moefana > Costes? Really?

I do frequently wonder what he's there for when I see him in a France shirt.

We've seen some pretty retarded stuff from Fre teams already in the first 2 weeks with Stade in Munster a standout attempt for gold, but the 3 yellows in this from UBB have eclipsed that.

That Saints side is just about as strong a team that they could put out especially with Mitchell returned from injury.
Can't see them getting within 15 points of the Bulls though!
Hmm. If it were not for the altitude and travel, with that big pitch, I'd fancy Saints' chances of an upset.

Reminds me of Laporte's obsession with Richard Dourthe. Another player who offered nothing bar effort and was terminally stupid discipline wise.

Every f**king time Irish sides slow the ball down whilst looking pleadingly/innocent at the ref until he tells them to release. But by then, the damage is done.

Both methinks. The bench is the difference here.

Game management has been dire. It's taken forever to get the ball into Penaud's hands to create inroads and ditto for B-B where the kicking for a chase has been abject by both Lucu and Carberry.

UBB need to sort their sh*t out if they have serious ambitions for this comp. Way too hard to defeat a pretty ordinary Ulster.

Re Tigrrs vs Sharks

Is the TMO really allowed to rule a live knock-on to ref, without prompt from ref for try/restart?!?

Don't think I want that

Sharks flooding the line defence, but really poor positioning for backfield comms.

Sharks B doing well, I think. Still need to organise backfield, but playing cohesively I think. Jaden at risk of being pinged for taking too long clearing.

It's not the knockouts yet, so the shit-the-bed switch hasn't engaged yet !

Bloody good game as a result

Leicester are playing really good rugby.

Look . It's our Currie Cup side. They won't get experience unless they play good opposition.

But very disappointed. Since the Keyter vokop they have lost all structure
