One of those scoreline-doesn’t-reflect-the-game days I think.
And are there two g’s in Bugger Off?

Hard luck, Landers. A gutsy performance for much of it. Well done Saders. That was brilliant at the end.

Highlanders a better outfit than we all have them credit for pre season. Forwards going well. Crusaders... too good of course.

Press it but it goes back to “new post” page, and have to click submit a second time.
I saw that when there was another post by another user in the meantime, just to make sure you still want to make the post
Ah right.

Can you turn that feature off ASMO?

Seems about right to me. Clan started well but ran out of gas and couldn't live with the clas of the Crusaders,

Mo missed a couple of crucial kicks at one point leaving the highlanders within 7.

Then nailed the rest once the pressure was off.

A little worrying.

Top game tonight.....great seeing the two southern teams having it out. Crusaders had possession edge throughout the game, but took 70 minutes to break down the Landers.

Love these kiwi derbies.....and seeing the local players play. Will Jordan has a bit of a Barrett look when he has a go......roll on next week......Crusaders v Blues...

Can’t see a setting in the user control panel to switch off review post thing.

It must be a site wide setting.

But did find something useful in that you don’t have to see other people’s signatures, which makes the site much better for reading.

Excellent match. Shame the Highlanders missed that open try with the delayed pass. But hey ho that's how critical moments pan out and who knows what would have happened next.
Seems like everyone is getting used to the new laws.

So, who is going to make the match threads?

Sounds as though AC will be creating them on PR.

Are we going to apply the same standard OP? Or be lazy and just start a thread without all the team details?

It’s a great format. Sets the scene. AC was never the sole match thread maker. Pretty sure he fine tuned them to their current blueprint.

As a crusaders supporter thought I better make my first post on a saders thread.

Nice defence by the highlanders until the 75min. Jordan continues to impress, as does Mo'unga. Goodhue & Ennor some nice touches roo. Reece added a lot whwn he got on.

Landers just don’t have the chops to finish anything other than last in the Aoteroa Cup. Gritty home wins only get you so far

I don’t know if you’re being serious? They’ve had a gritty away win already. The Chiefs and the Canes both look patchier, to me.

Apart from the obvious enjoyment of watching live rugby, with full undistanced crowds, the highlight of the competition for me so far is watching Gatland get his arse handed to him.

It's starting to look like either the Saders or Blues will take it, which would make the very last game of the competition hugely significant.

The Blues have been looking good, but I can't see them matching the firepower and precision we saw from the Crusaders today.

That’s exactly what we all said prior to Super Rugby proper kicking off. They’re a better unit than we gave them credit for. Still, it’s only a 5 team comp and they’re all Kiwi.

If the Highlanders hadn’t butchered that opportunity in the second half it might have been very different.

That was an incredibly bad play. Kiwis seemingly make those passes in their sleep.

One of the worst bits of butchery I’ve ever seen tbh. And I have had an Edinburgh Season Ticket since 2012.

It was a great game all the same. And maybe a wake up call to the powers that be about the future format for Super Rugby post Covid 19 😀

Maybe we can make Counties Manukau a seperate franchise to create a Friday to Sunday NZ conference

Yeah on paper, and so far on the field, you'd have to think the Canes would be confident about getting last.
