It was a great weekend with Bordeaux winning at Toulouse (sans Dupont), SF losing K Ghezal, might be a good thing anyway.
Bad news for Perpignan and EDF with Tuilagi out for about 5 months

Nice pics on your Flickr account, 3.7 million views

He's the Top14 player of the month and just signed a new contract, so it's going quite well for him

Capuozzo's run to set up the try to beat Wales a couple of years ago is one of my all time favourite rugby moments in 50 years of playing and watching. Especially so in the professional era where power counts for so much, I believe even Welsh supporters after the fact could see the brilliance. His final nail in UBB's efforts in the European final in the summer there was just another example of his magic - he even made a chump of Damien Penaud in the process, Penaud is not often outdone by anyone.

I absolutely love watching Capuozzo play.

I've just watched the Racing Lyon game, or at least the 10 minute highlights package that Premier Sports do - I've long been a fan of Cameron Woki and he scored a really well-taken try, but I had no idea he was still only 26. He seems to have been around for ages

Lyon did well to come back into the game and take equal points, but Racing will kick themselves for giving up the lead.

On to Stade Toulousain v Stade Français now, which is why I tuned in tonight.

Can any of our French friends shed some light on what's happening with Camille Chat?

Have Racing had ongoing issues with his behaviour? Appreciate it's not a good look to turn up drunk but seems a bit nuclear.

Sorry. Saw this late. I touched on this a while back on another thread. There had been rumours for a while of a breakdown between (at least) some of the French players and Lancaster. I can only surmise his "style" of rugby did not fit with what Racing stood for. Chat and Tarrit's behaviour is totally unacceptable and unprofessional but, in France, not a surprise to me. Chat is a legend amongst Racing fans and I can't see Lancaster surviving this.

Lancaster sacked by Racing!! Watch out Munster and Leicester Tiger fans!!!!
Stuart Lancaster’s time at Racing 92 is officially over, with sources confirming the former England boss has left the Top 14 giants with immediate effect.

Well, that was long overdue. Hopefully the likes of Farrell, Lancaster Jr and Arundell will go with him.

Collazo favourite to replace him.

Arundell has agreed to sign for Bath next season.
Bet Farell ends up back at Sarries in some sort of player/coach role
Lancaster Jr will struggle to find a club in the top 2 or 3 tiers of English rugby

Maybe they can resurrect his career. Gone from U21 starlet on to decent 1st season in T14 to dogsh*t.

How would that work with the cap if he played?

Yeah. The nepotism straw that was a significant contribution to breaking camel.

Arundell still has time on his side to develop. He went to school in Bath so would be going home. Would be a good move for him.
Don’t know where Sarries are on the salary cap at the moment. Farrell would probably need to take a significant wage cut if he wanted to go back I’d guess
I really don’t understand why Lancaster was allowed to sign his son who is most certainly not an never been a T14 or Premiership standard player
Mate of mine who has done some consultancy work with Racing says that Lancaster was struggling to learn even basic French so I’d have thought that would also have been an issue

Odd legislation if a national sports event becomes tax free but a domestic professional league would have to pay tax.

I doubt there are vat exemption for such an event.

I don't have the details for this.
