To be fair he destroyed Glasgow's back row last week.

They had one chalked off for unnecessary stupidity already.clydecloggie wrote: Sat Feb 01, 2025 6:22 pm Would be a travesty if Ireland got a BP win from here. They've been mediocre at best. Says a lot about England tbf.

Bit harsh; it's his first Cap, he can be coached out of it if given the chance

Only if their next match is against Wales; in which case he'll probably never get his hands on the ball out thereTorquemada 1420 wrote: Sat Feb 01, 2025 6:27 pmF**k knows how you do that. More holes now in this Eng defence than the average Alzheimers victim's brain.

Another perfectly timed 1m pass, & another try.
There's no way we should have had a TBP today, but we took our chances

Yet again under Borthwick we have utterly failed to use the backs in any meaningful way beyond hoofing it and grubbers and hoping for magic.

Borthwick's England are like Borthwick the England player.
Okay, to post seriously for a second: Marcus had a pretty good first half and an average second, but isn't exactly to blame for the meltdown. I don't think Slick was being serious for a second about him playing himself out of the Lions, and it's funny to consider today's matches in terms of Lions 10s given the clear #1 option was absolutely dreadful.
And it was genuinely a superb take in the air!
He's absolutely not a fullback, mind.

Until the try, Eng have created f**k all in open play.
I agree. I actually like Smith and think he could be incredibly well suited for the Lions.JM2K6 wrote: Sat Feb 01, 2025 6:33 pmOkay, to post seriously for a second: Marcus had a pretty good first half and an average second, but isn't exactly to blame for the meltdown. In terms of the Lions, I don't think any of the stand offs have played well today so we are probably not any further forward.
