It's not often you see Ireland counter-rucked off the ball, they're usually so organised at the breakdown

France were moving the ball so quickly at times there, you feel Ramos should've sent it wide rather than making the run himself.
Still, they've got themselves what looks to be a healthy lead now.

Leg got caught in ruck then an Irish player accidentally drove through and fell over twisting DuPont's knee. Terrifically unfortunate.Tichtheid wrote: Sat Mar 08, 2025 3:41 pm I only joined as France scored their second - what happened to Dupont?

But if anyone can blow it from here, it's France.

Oh well.
Well done France. Didn't think we were winning today but expected us to be a bit more competitive.

Remember France don’t actually have any more backs to spare and there’s 20 minutes to goUncle fester wrote: Sat Mar 08, 2025 3:47 pm Oh well.

Easterby having the jitters this week, leaking into the players.
Starting POM out of sentiment, taking the openside off when there's space out wide to cover, Crowley covering the centre....
Not getting points in the first 15 minutes took a lot out of them. And some weaknesses exposed today, things to learn from.
French looking good - can't beat speed on the wings.
Super Saturday could get interesting for the tournament win..

Got hung out to dry by the pack, though, the ref was clearly saying use it at the scrum and they were still too busy shoving and collapsing to actually think about what they were doing.

Oh yeah. Lucu needed to wake up too but once the ball came to him, he needed to kick it instead of freezing like a rabbit in headlights. oHal Jordan wrote: Sat Mar 08, 2025 3:51 pmGot hung out to dry by the pack, though, the ref was clearly saying use it at the scrum and they were still too busy shoving and collapsing to actually think about what they were doing.

No. I'm a fan of his but he's been sh*te along with everyone associated with Racing this season. Also, Jauneau (ASM) is actually a better player.
I think we can now all agree that Borthwick's England were magnificent in taking down this French side. Our future is rosy.
