Carley is a poor ref, & like we all knew would happen, the 20min RC & the bunker is a total cop out.

The bunker will probably say that the little nudge from Lucu was the difference & Mauvaka wasn't in control, but fundamentally it was off the ball, the ref had already blown his whistle, so if there's foul play he is supposed to use the RC, & not bail to the bunker.
You can’t totally blame Carley for that. It had a full review. It was a clear red card for me and I can’t understand on what basis it wasn’t given. Low danger?! He head butted him after the whistle.

The penalty is one of those unlucky things. But there was a 9 and two others not in the line out. It's awful refereeing

It was dreadful play acting by the Scottish player. That should never be rewarded.

Yeah, part (i) of my yellow pack plan to beat France is to run their forwards around till they're blowing (which is easy & was done), but part (ii) is to take your opportunities, & that's a damn site easier to say than to do :sad:

Plus the bar stewards can empty the bench & pummel you late in the 2nd half.
