Some of the Canes' handling, and their defence, has been outstanding.
Agree. Defence has been as good as I have seen from them

Roigard, except for his first dud kick, has been outstanding. And I thought the 1st 2nd center Canes combination would have been a weakness. But its gone really well. Clicked better than I have seen from them this year

Canes tries have been a joy to watch

Hohepa surprisingly has been class. He looks like a first whereas Godfrey looks like a FB learning to ropes at first still

Canes playing well, Tahs cursed with injury enforced subs. Would like to see the Canes in ruthless form in 2nd half.

Some outstanding tackles by the Tahs but they just ran out of defenders. WTF was that pass by Love?

Sums the Tahs up. Reserve SH gets charged down and half walks to get back for his error.

Carnage.

If the Canes play like this next week, the Blues are going 1-6.

Waratahs seems to have given up

57-12 full time

Most of the Canes players stepped up big time. But mentioning a few

Iose was class at 6. I don't see him as a eight but seemed right at home at 6. Aumua is a huge step up on the inconsistent Devery. PUJ and Sullivan has their best game together. And Hohepa was class at first

Crusaders vs Moana Pasifika just about to kick off in Christchurch.

Havili's a late scratching.

Kemara has been the regular starting 10 but he is getting a rest this weekend

Questioning the depth. Would have been a horror express if 20 years ago the Saders had to field an Aussie has been.

Crusaders and Chiefs are favored to finish the regular season as top two.
But in their last 80 minutes of footy, Moana have put on 61 to Chiefs-Crusaders 15 or 17.

O'Connor's been great value off the bench for the Saders, tbf. One stray kick-off apart, he hasn't been the problem for them tonight.

MP bossing the breakdown winning lots of turnovers. Crusaders forwards need to start playing with more intensity

Yeah. Doesn't alter why NZ's leading side/region had to reach for the overseas option.

You can have West "back" if you like

There was a lot of uncertainty about RMo's possible early return from Japan and we have Kemara and Reihana on the books. JOC was seen as a short-term gap filler and a mentor to the youngsters. West can stay where he is.

The pick and go game from a Lana Pasifika here is fantastic. Crusaders can’t deal with it.

Just when you thought the Saders were right back in it, MP start going right up the guts again. Man, they've looked after their ball well.

Saders reminding me of last year's model.

MP playing out of their skins and not letting the Cru play at all. It is relentless

Well done, Moana Pasifika. Did not expect that.

Not sure what to think about the Crusaders... :problem:

Definitely unexpected but I am not too down on the Cru. MP were stunning but we still put 29 points on them.

In addition to the forward play, Pelligrini played a blinder. Outplayed his compatriot to be fair.

Yep, he's been a revelation. They weren't going to be competitive with Garden-Bachop running the cutter.
