It’s going to be rammed, get on the terracing early for a decent spot. Should be a good atmosphere tomorrow I think.Yr Alban wrote: Thu Apr 17, 2025 8:55 pm Feck it - the 20yo and I are going. Yeah, I really like it. The roof support pillars are annoying but I have found everything else about the experience including toilet provision and beer queues (which kind of go hand-in-handJock42 wrote: Thu Apr 17, 2025 9:57 pm It's a cracking wee stadium, imo, and it's certainly up attendance and noise.
This is going to sound ridiculous, but what’s the best way in? It looks like round the back of the ice rink via the riverbank?Biffer wrote: Thu Apr 17, 2025 9:06 pmIt’s going to be rammed, get on the terracing early for a decent spot. Yeah, pretty much, unless you’re getting the tram or walking.Yr Alban wrote: Fri Apr 18, 2025 11:33 amThis is going to sound ridiculous, but what’s the best way in? URC Champions Team for Zebre
The most notable selections are McKay and Hiddleston now both fit.

Probably as well to come in along the south end of Murrayfield tbh, next to the old Murrayfield Wanderers clubhouseYr Alban wrote: Fri Apr 18, 2025 3:50 pmWalking from Dalry Rd. Will take the new footpath round the back of Lidl and via Roseburn

The backs are very good but the pack is inexperienced. I’d expect Glasgow to struggle for set piece dominance but still to have far too much in the backs for zebre. Great to see the Scottish forwards depth chart being expanded so rapidly by Glasgow though, I expect 4 or 5 new internationals this summer off the back of their efforts.Dogbert wrote: Fri Apr 18, 2025 12:20 pm URC Champions Team for Zebre

Fecking Sexton being picked as a coach for the Lions (no idea what qualifies him for the role) doubtless means he will be in Farrell’s ear 24/7 slagging off Finn.

He’s in as kicking coach. I can’t imagine he’ll be bothering the selection meetings.Yr Alban wrote: Fri Apr 18, 2025 4:30 pm Fecking Sexton being picked as a coach for the Lions (no idea what qualifies him for the role) doubtless means he will be in Farrell’s ear 24/7 slagging off Finn.

I agree it’s a shite selection but if he is overruling experienced coaches like Dalziel, Wigglesworth and Easterby then that’s on them for being weak. I don’t think any of them are weak and I don’t think Farrell is either.Slick wrote: Fri Apr 18, 2025 4:45 pmNah, he’ll be all over it. Yeah, not just Goosen but Lang and Currie have been playing well together in the centres and that is now disrupted.Jock42 wrote: Fri Apr 18, 2025 5:46 pm Big blow for embra. Goosen out, Tuipulotu to 12, Land to 13, Currie to wing, Paterson to FB and Brown to 23.
It is but Thompson has been decent over the last couple of weeks
Ahh shite, he was doing really well

Brown has taken 3 high balls damn near perfectly in traffic since he came on

Yup, if it wasn’t for a couple of handling errors they could be a couple of scores up. Fronting up physically although allowing them to get over the ball a bit too often.Jock42 wrote: Fri Apr 18, 2025 7:21 pm Considering the relative strengths of these 2 teams pretty happy with that.
