Mack Hansen out for 6 weeks with an injured ankle
Tom Curry didn't look too good coming off after 20 minutes with a hamstring problem

Didn't Hansen also have his arm in a sling last week?SaintK wrote: Mon May 12, 2025 2:56 pm Mack Hansen out for 6 weeks with an injured ankle

All the money you made will never buy back your soul
Would be awful for the players to miss out at this stage.SaintK wrote: Mon May 12, 2025 2:56 pm Mack Hansen out for 6 weeks with an injured ankle

From a Lions POV they play in positions with good depth but hopefully they make it.

It's pretty much a certainty that 4-5 players will be hors de combat before they even fly out.Big D wrote: Mon May 12, 2025 4:37 pmWould be awful for the players to miss out at this stage.SaintK wrote: Mon May 12, 2025 2:56 pm Mack Hansen out for 6 weeks with an injured ankle

Yeah, I always feel more sorry for the guys who don't even make it to the kit out day to get all the gear or make it to the tour.Uncle fester wrote: Mon May 12, 2025 6:28 pmIt's pretty much a certainty that 4-5 players will be hors de combat before they even fly out.Big D wrote: Mon May 12, 2025 4:37 pmWould be awful for the players to miss out at this stage.SaintK wrote: Mon May 12, 2025 2:56 pm Mack Hansen out for 6 weeks with an injured ankle

To be fair I always feel sorry for the injured ones. Especially Doddie and Simon Taylor. I thought Taylor was going to be the surprise package on that Australian tour.

Yes , some poor sod, and it's usually someone who is more likely than not to make the Test squad (starter or bench) always picks up some tour ending injury.
Doddies reaction was heart breaking. The way he got injurednwas awful too.Hal Jordan wrote: Tue May 13, 2025 7:02 am Yes , some poor sod, and it's usually someone who is more likely than not to make the Test squad (starter or bench) always picks up some tour ending injury.

Injuries are part of the game and accepted as such, but that was just "Fuck up a Lion" thuggery.Big D wrote: Tue May 13, 2025 7:40 amDoddies reaction was heart breaking. If Doddie hadn't had the terrible illness many in rugby would still know of him - those who saw him play and those who saw him as a pundit in those gloriously garish tartan suits.
I have no idea of the name of that nonentity who assaulted Doddie, and I've no wish to know it either.
