I hate this tactic more than anything. Does he do this for the Highlanders?Monkey Magic wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2020 3:53 am Have BB or Mo taken a clearing kick yet or has it all been smiths pop gun box kick
Bledisloe II: All Blacks vs Wallabies: MATCH THREAD: Sunday 18th Oct
Edge of the seat stuff, again. This is a better game but probably only because the weather in better. Our forwards still haven't quite stepped up to where they need to be, yet, with the exception that Ardie and Cane seem to have sported out their roles and I like the look of Hodgman. A mixed bag in the bags, with BB on fire and Clarke having his moments. The Aussies are dispiriting the hell out of us in the forwards and have a good offloading game going

We finished that half without a single Crusaders player in the pack. Our pack was comprised of 4 Blues players, 2 Chiefs players and 2 Hurricanes players. Welcome to the foster era!mrbrownstone wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2020 3:52 am I've said for a while that Moody and Whitelock are our most important players at the moment, given our poor depth at loosehead and lock. We're now without both. This is probably the weakest tight five we've fielded in a long time - hopefully they can stand up in the second half.
He’s repeatably putting the Wobs in territory.el camino wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2020 3:56 amI hate this tactic more than anything. Does he do this for the Highlanders?Monkey Magic wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2020 3:53 am Have BB or Mo taken a clearing kick yet or has it all been smiths pop gun box kick
The forwards need to take him in to the toilet at half time and give him a seeing to.
That’s a poor choice of words given the player we are talking about, but yes, the forwards should suggest a change of tactics.Ymx wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2020 3:58 amHe’s repeatably putting the Wobs in territory.el camino wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2020 3:56 amI hate this tactic more than anything. Yeah, I’d probably add ALB to the few players making a positive impact.Ted. wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2020 3:56 am Edge of the seat stuff, again. But in general we are getting bullied in the collision

Three really good touches by Mo'unga in the lead up to that try. Goodhue crucial in setting up both tries today.

Great run by Clarke and then that pass by Mo'unga to Savea
Caleb Clarke is all arse and hip. A barrel

the AB backline is humming now. Great interplay between BB and Mo'unga who then put PT into a gap and then the offload to the captain.
