And then Atkinson gets a yellow for repeated infringements. Seems a little harsh.

Not the greatest debut thus far, hospital pass to Slade, knock on in mid air and a yellow.

Cummings was excellent
Earl was terrific
Jones was very good
Apart from that, I’m not sure anyone was good or bad.
Keenan looked like a player who was coming back from injury
Kinghorn looked like a player who had just won the Top14.
I'd question some of the on-filed leadership - eking out scrum penalties against a 13 man team was poor

I was impressed with the Waratahs 7, the type of classic pain in the arse from start to finish 7 that the Aussies seem to churn out from a factory somewhere in the boondocks.

From the last two games before today the 'Hits' extended highlights came up first on Now TV, the morning after the game. The full replay was around 24 hours after the final whistle for the Force and Reds games.Tichtheid wrote: Sat Jul 05, 2025 7:34 pmKingBlairhorn wrote: Sat Jul 05, 2025 7:09 pm I haven’t seen the game and don’t know the score but I came here to say; it’s 8pm, a full 9 hours after the game started, and I have just sat down to watch it to find it is not available yet on now tv on demand. 9 hours later. Premier sports, the so-called budget option, has all games available on demand within minutes of them finishing. There is no way I will manage to go much longer without finding out the score.
If this is the standard sky work to they can go fuck themselves if they think I am ever going to pay their extortionate subscription fees. Absolute tinpot service.
That's not good to hear, I'm in London on the day of the second test and I was hoping to watch it when I get to my sister's in the evening
Don't know if that is standard.
There has been a full re-run on one of the Sky channels late on the same evening as the games but you would need to watch as live and couldn't skip anything.
Also in London for the 2nd test..Tichtheid wrote: Sat Jul 05, 2025 7:34 pmKingBlairhorn wrote: Sat Jul 05, 2025 7:09 pm I haven’t seen the game and don’t know the score but I came here to say; it’s 8pm, a full 9 hours after the game started, and I have just sat down to watch it to find it is not available yet on now tv on demand. 9 hours later. I'm catching up on England's game from last night. Just reinforces what an absolute joke it is that Ford isn't with the Lions.

Punter, he put a link in the last post on the England rugby thread.Punter15 wrote: Sun Jul 06, 2025 5:09 pmWhere is it on?sockwithaticket wrote: Sun Jul 06, 2025 12:10 pm I'm catching up on England's game from last night. Just reinforces what an absolute joke it is that Ford isn't with the Lions.
Thanks. Good game. Such a shame it’s Bring Your Kid To Work Day in Australia as Ford should definitely be there.Hugo wrote: Sun Jul 06, 2025 5:26 pmPunter, he put a link in the last post on the England rugby thread.Punter15 wrote: Sun Jul 06, 2025 5:09 pmWhere is it on?sockwithaticket wrote: Sun Jul 06, 2025 12:10 pm I'm catching up on England's game from last night. Agreed. Ford should have been there ahead of Marcus and Owen, maybe Daly. Different to Russell, but absolute class. I think both Russell and Ford have played at centre at some point in their respective careers (Finn I am sure put a quarter or so at 12 in an Autumn game v Fiji or another PI team) and having both on a rugby field together would be something. Obviously a Lions tour isn’t a time to be experimenting, but I think they’d be magic together.
Controversially from a Scot, I would also not have DHV there at the moment. He’s not fit to my eye. Many other better wingers right now, including Steyn, Graham, the English rapid lads, and the Leinster\Irish lad. All on form right now.
