Who the hell have we got to replace him?
Might as well recall Hibbard if all we need is a solid lump. I was hoping Dewi was going to be a winner but it looks like he’ll need a season or two before he can put on his big boy pants.
Yeah. He needs a run of games. He's barely played at regional level...what is it, 4 appearances? He needs a good season of playing regularly and then we'll see where he's up to. I reckon he'll make it but it's still very early.Ali Cadoo wrote: Thu Oct 15, 2020 12:18 amMight as well recall Hibbard if all we need is a solid lump. Cubby looks like he can put on a few kgs. Our Josh is a versatile player so let's play him therepenguin wrote: Thu Oct 15, 2020 8:21 am Surely there must be another young 7 off the production line we can fatten up for hooker duties?

I'm failing to get excited by it tbh. Hopefully the French will be in their can't arsed moodsRBear wrote: Mon Oct 19, 2020 3:51 pm Who does everyone want to see on Saturday. Now that World Cup seeding isn’t a concern I’d say blood the youngsters. LRZ and Sheedy please!
So that leaves Halfpenny at FB, with Ioan Lloyd back at Bristol (although with Wasps now confirmed for the final I wonder how soon he gets released back, and Sheedy too for that matter), Adams, North and Rees-Zammit...fingers crossed we get to see Rees-Zammit get his first cap this weekend.Liam Williams and Jonah Holmes have been released by Wales to play for the Scarlets and Dragons respectively this weekend. Liam hasn’t played since March.
I agree with you with Jarrod but I wanted him in over patchell. He’s solid but we know what we have with him and while he’s solid, I know I’d never have him as first choice.Theflier wrote: Tue Oct 20, 2020 6:35 pm
I see our media has gone sheedy crazy, approaching Same Davies level, he's good, but I don't think he warranted supplanting Jarrod. I also like how the last 4 competent welsh 10s have all been trained or matured Cardiff
I haven’t been in wales recently has it been that bad? I’m basing it off what I’ve seen for Bristol which I thought would suit the new style.penguin wrote: Wed Oct 21, 2020 8:33 am
For what it's worth I think Sheedy is probably going to be a tidy international player, but I feel like they're making it impossible for the average fan, who hasn't been watching Bristol, to not get their hopes up. If he doesn't play like Barry John they might be disappointed.
You know how it is though, particular with WOL, a player becomes their flavour of the month and then every other article is about them. Sheedy isn't quite at Rhys Webb levels yet, but there's potential.RBear wrote: Wed Oct 21, 2020 2:43 pmI agree with you with Jarrod but I wanted him in over patchell.
