Imagine my surprise to find the only feeds I have all have Arabic commentary because they’re French.

Balls.

Faletau running the dummy line made that. Standard moves like that usually have the second wave of forwards crashing onto it at speed.

Wales playing at a massively high tempo. The thing now is can it last for the full 80.

tbf, on second viewing webb shot far too much, left far too much distanec for him to defend.

French backs are suburb, we are chasing shadows. North playing like a donkey please put Zammit, you cannot defend against pace.

Everyone said it at the time but why you wouldn’t give Shaun edwards the 4 years he wants god knows.

1 year left, lucky we’re a top seed. Who can replace him who is realistic do we think?

Getting beat up on the gainline. We're working our bollocks off to tackle them, and they are still making yards beyond the tackle...whereas they are stopping us with ease, and then turning us over with near impunity.

Scott Robertson would be the obvious pick. Carries on our Kiwi love affair, and Wales is a well trodden path for quality Kiwi coaches that have been snubbed at home.

He was the first person I thought of but would he come? Cracking coach I’d be well behind it

Hence the high-tempo, lung-buster gameplan. Gotta hope to tire out this monster French pack and capitalise when they start blowing.

It's some sort of rush defence with Tipuric seemingly being given 'shooter rights' to do whatever he pleases. Works when you can control the tempo and you are on the front foot in defence, but when on the back foot it creates, well, what we've just seen...dog-leg heaven.

Is it me, or have France won the kicking battle as well? Consistently finding spots in between our catchers and kicking further than us.

Is it just me or the French on the Welsh 10m line at the moment the ball is kicked at a restart?

Better hang time as well with a better chase. And when they kick it from the 22 by the time it comes back to them they’re on the 10 at least

The Frogs are getting pinged for it, but not half as much as they should...they are going long at every ruck, almost always off their feet.

For every time they don't get pinged, our ball is irrevocably slowed down.

Distinct lack of imagination in Wales attack; & a peculiar solidity in Frances defense.
