Your Favourite Conspiracy Theory
I did used to have some time for the conspiracy theory that Osama Bin Laden had actually died not long after 9/11, and that the raid on that Pakistani compound and the hasty "burial at sea" was part of the coverup.
More recently, I like the one that covid was the byproduct of an attempt to create an HIV vaccine that accidentally escaped from a lab in Wuhan.

My conspiracy theory is that Covid19 was deliberately released on the world.

CGI and actors bro. The videos were actually a big part of the theory, because apparently his appearance gets worse and worse (he had some kidney problem) and then suddenly much better. This is from memory granted.CrazyIslander wrote: Wed Jul 08, 2020 3:16 amWhat about the videos Bin Laden kept sending out?Fonz wrote: Wed Jul 08, 2020 2:32 am I did used to have some time for the conspiracy theory that Osama Bin Laden had actually died not long after 9/11, and that the raid on that Pakistani compound and the hasty "burial at sea" was part of the coverup.

To add to your theory I don't think Obama and co were watching a live streaming of the bin Laden killing. Obama over-acted his part.Fonz wrote: Wed Jul 08, 2020 4:47 amCGI and actors bro. Of course, in theory a space station could have been built on the moon even back then. It's just simply too expensive. Humans have definitely been to the Moon.CrazyIslander wrote: Tue Jul 07, 2020 11:00 pm I reckon the moon landing is a hoax. Based solely on the fact they haven't gone back there for nearly 50 years. Wouldn't it be the first step to exploring/studying the universe? Also, there are minerals there etc

What/who is Suzie? Was it the waitress? or the restaurant name? Or the chef? the street name perhaps or the suburb, or was she a proprietor of the flesh and Zinny just blurred out her name coz she was so good.
Or Suzy is just the code name for NZ choking in big games".
Suzy isn't a conspiracy, it's a country.

The Apollo programme cost $25.4 billion. Adjusted for inflation that's more like $150+ billion. The costs of extracting minerals and returning them to Earth would be many times that, so there is no economic argument for doing so. And we are exploring the Universe. There have been several unmanned missions to Mars, as well probes such as the Cassini mission to Saturn.

indeed, unless there is oil on the moon or a dictatorship needing "liberating", there really isn't a need for the US to give a shit about another country..or the moon..Biffer wrote: Wed Jul 08, 2020 7:38 amWhy go back?CrazyIslander wrote: Tue Jul 07, 2020 11:00 pm I reckon the moon landing is a hoax. My point is it should be much cheaper to go there 50 years later. Think how a PC can do a million more operations than a room size computer of the early days. That's generally the trajectory of technology. The US can't even go back now.Lobby wrote: Wed Jul 08, 2020 8:50 amBecause it costs a hell of a lot.CrazyIslander wrote: Wed Jul 08, 2020 8:12 amWhy not?

Up until the last ten years, space missions were all either science or government and defence. Commercial opportunities were limited to contracts with government. There's now potential for commercial exploitation of space services and resources - which is one of the reasons the moon is on the agenda again. We didn't have the technology to make this worthwhile any sooner. So far as science goes, the moon is pretty boring really. Dead, dry, geologically dead, yawn. It does offer a potential platform for things like Infra red and radio telescopes, and there are long term plans for these but they're decades away - we wouldn't have been able to build them before now, again we didn't have the tech. These telescopes are actually the most likely reasons to establish a manned moon base. Apollo had a bit of science but it was mostly engineering and 'to prove we can' (and beat the Russians). So once it was done there was no reason to go back. NASA's budget was slashed and resources were focused on what was interesting - and that's why we got Pioneer, Voyager, Mariner, Viking, Spirit & Opportunity, Mars Global Orbiter, Cassini, New Horizons, Deep Impact etc.etc. Manned spaceflight concentrated on making it routine through reusable craft (the shuttle) and permanently manned orbiting platforms. Did you know it's more than 20 years since every human was on Earth?CrazyIslander wrote: Wed Jul 08, 2020 8:12 amWhy not?Biffer wrote: Wed Jul 08, 2020 7:38 amWhy go back?CrazyIslander wrote: Tue Jul 07, 2020 11:00 pm I reckon the moon landing is a hoax. Tech is cheaper because of mass production. Space isn't that, even with the kind of thing that Musk (the fucker) is doing, it's only in the hundreds or thousands, not the millions that provide the economies of scale. When it comes to science, what's the point of doing the same thing again?

That makes sense. ‘False birds‘ in Jewish Gematria is 307, that’s the same as ‘Pleiades‘, which is where the alien bastards came from who stole all the originals. Wankers.

Heres another wacko theory. The Chinese deliberately released Covid. Thats why the figures are so low in China because they already had containment measures in place. However, it wasnt foolproof but its still very low considering density of population.

The Gulf of Tonkin incident is my favourite conspiracy theory, thpugh this is about nothing important or anything...it just kicked of US involvement in Vietnam.
It proved that not only are conspiracies very real, that people can jolly well keep quiet about them for 40 years.
So when people say " conspiracies can never be real, people can never be quiet"
It is my queue to go..."Gulf of Tonkin".
I love it so..don't ruin this for me.
