Carrrmann Rebels. Very unfamiliar looking line up.
Rebels did OK in the 2nd half last week. They have a strong squad. Maybe slight favourites for this given how bad QLD were.

JOC and Toomua two shocking kicks each. We are really down in quality here
Thanks, Akkerman.
Much better setting for club / regional rugby than an 90% empty 60,000 seater stadium. I speak from experience as an Edinburgh fan used to watching games in Murrayfield with a crowd of 4000.Zig wrote: Fri Jul 10, 2020 9:06 am Brookvale Oval looks like a GAA ground from the '90s.

Yeah, but the Reds looked really dangerous then with some enterprising play.Koalabyte wrote: Fri Jul 10, 2020 9:36 am Basics are horrendous. Shouldn't be so adventurous, play wet weather rugby. It is the percentage/smart rugby for the conditions.
Aussies always struggle in the rain. I base this on Scotland beating them in 2009 and 2012.Koalabyte wrote: Fri Jul 10, 2020 9:36 am Basics are horrendous. Shouldn't be so adventurous, play wet weather rugby. It is the percentage/smart rugby for the conditions.

Good choice of venue, pity the game is so poor.

Im impressed with the hardness of the hits by the young Rebels forwards. Fraser has been good for Reds. I can see a decent pack for the Wobs coming through.
