Perhaps the ones up here feel a bit out of place and are to scared to show their true selves or perhaps the frot vis fumes and shit weather affects their brains down there in the Cape.

Its such a joke. All they have going for them is the scrum. And I would hate to think how much it cost them to keep Ginger. He was offered 60bar remember. Obviously at a cost to the backline which probably plays for peanuts.

So Handy is claiming that the Sharks players, especially the props, purposely caught Covid to avoid being poesklapped by the WP.DURBAN - The Sharks’ Currie Cup match against Western Province at Newlands on Saturday is expected to be called off later today after the Durban team this morning was rocked by multiple positive Covid-19 results.
The failure of this final-round match to take place amid the backdrop of rising infections across the country will cast serious doubt on whether the Currie Cup can, in fact, be completed.

The semi-finals next week will now be in serious doubt — if the Sharks, who will be one of the semi-finalists are struggling to put a team on the field this week, they won’t be in a significantly better position next week given the need for infected players to isolate for 14 days.
If the Currie Cup cannot proceed beyond this weekend it will add depressing fuel to the fire of speculation that July’s British and Irish Lions tour to this country is in mortal danger.
The Sharks’ match against the Stormers in October was also called off because of Covid issues, so this latest development will be a desperate disappointment for both teams.
The Sharks are undergoing a second round of testing later on Wednesday, but it is unlikely that there will be better news. The procedure is for the results to be forwarded to the National Institute for Communicable Diseases, who will make a call on whether the match should proceed, and precedent suggests that there is no chance of this game happening.
The Currie Cup has been plagued by a number of matches falling prey to Covid-19 and, in fact, one of the games that were postponed is taking place at Loftus Versfeld this afternoon when the Bulls host the Lions.
Sadly, this match (4pm kick-off) could be the last hurrah of the 2021 Currie Cup.

I hope there is an independent investigation at the saarkies union. How could they let this happen multiple times?Chilli wrote: ↑Wed Jan 06, 2021 9:32 amDURBAN - The Sharks’ Currie Cup match against Western Province at Newlands on Saturday is expected to be called off later today after the Durban team this morning was rocked by multiple positive Covid-19 results.

I guess we have a new Clown College.

That's twice in a season that they are running from the WP.handyman wrote: ↑Wed Jan 06, 2021 9:35 amI hope there is an independent investigation at the saarkies union. Yet their supporters are trolling the Boks for not playing the RC.
Yeah. All jokes aside, the players health is more important than watch Ginger shove Kumbari's head up his arse
It's embarrassing that a Union supposedly being run so much better than WP can have 2 outbreaks in one short season.

Lemoentjie, I have to agree. It's ok when you are only destroying your own union, but now it's starting to affect other teams.Lemoentjie wrote: ↑Wed Jan 06, 2021 11:57 amThere's something rotten. The whole place needs cleaning out. A house built on sand.

The whole proud history and tradition of the glorious Currie Cup is being undermined by their careless attitude. Shameful.handyman wrote: ↑Wed Jan 06, 2021 12:12 pmLemoentjie, I have to agree. I am enjoying the irony.
When the Springboks do it, its fine....
Although I would have preferred a result. Tired of giving WP hope and points for doing nothing. Probably find management begged the SHARKS to throw the 3 points or suffer the wrath of the Stellenbosch mafia.

Personally I think that the Covid non compliant Sharks should be booted from the Pro14 and replaced by the Mighty Cheetahs

If the Shark chicken run for the semi, let Vrystaat in please
Can't seem to understand why the Sharks would want to infect or be infected against a nothing team like WP. Makes absolutely no sense. Besides...nice to see them wriggling on our hook whilst we vok with their minds

Having thought about it, I don't see why they can't reschedule this match like they did for the Bulls/Lions game.
If it is because of the timing of the semi finals and finals, then why not just push them back a couple of weeks? It's not like anyone has bought tickets. At least doing so would bring back some credibility to this competition.
