Feed cut out for the levelling, but the Bulls did well to stick in there.

Need to start looking past Bosch now I think. It just doesn't look like he is going to improve past this.

Good win in the end but the Sharks were the better pack for long periods. Think the Highveld got to them eventually. Curwin has a good boot but it went missing today and cost them. Should have taken the 3 on offer twice when 19-16 up and game starting to close out.

Congrats Bulls, but that game (and season) was rubbish. SA Rugby is in the doldrums at present.

Today he show zero BMT. Far from a test fly half.

No team will beat the Sharks if they play running rugby.

They need Kolisi as captain. Amm decided to not go for poles was the difference.

Time for some proper rugby talk.

Key match ups :

Gqoboka vs Du Toit : Advantage Bulls if the game is loose, but finals rarely are, scrumming more important, so advantage saarks.
Van Staden vs Richardson : Advantage Bulls by a long, LONG way. To me, the clincher.
Vermeulen vs Notshe : Advantage Bulls. Notshe is a bigger asset when the game is loose, possibly of the bench as well. Vermeulen is a beast and will lift for the final.
Steyn vs Bosch : Even. Steyn is the old hand and used to pressure games, Bosch longer with kicks out of hand and to touch. If I had to choose, it would be Steyn.
White vs Everitt : Advantage Bulls. Jake's been there, done it, got the t-shirt and sold it to Everitt. White has won the RWC, Everitt has resorted to dodgy tactics to avoid WP to get to the final.
WP?

I didn't realise that they were still in the competition.
I'm well aware of that, but why are the saarkies always posting about us?

So this Bosch is the preferred Bok flyhalf. Fokol bmt. Kicked every fokon ball. saarkies fokol gameplan, kick and halfhearted chase. Lekker Bulle, made it tougher than it needed to be.

saarkies were kak haha.

Lost with plenty of help from Peyper.

Thats the difference between Sharks supporters and you. If a player was kak he was kak...not to try defend the kid .

His lack of performance was the difference today.

Braai is done man. 8.15 everyone scatters. Its funny being in the street seeing the guests off. People escaping from all the houses down the road because uncle Cyril says we must be in our homes by 9.

Must be hell of an irritating playing against the Sharks Ricky January. He sledge every scrum, maybe sledged himself in the process.

He missed three drop goals with the best backs waiting for ball.

That's 15 + 21 = 36 points gone.

Ja, those attempts were terrible. But to be fair, you will have to substract the conversions on those, he wouldnt have nailed them

Rinkhals thinks that you are wrong about this. He assured me that the Sharks 2021 CC backline containing Mampimpi and Mvovu would be a joy to watch.

At least we did not embarrass ourselves. Great team effort from both sides and a fitting final.

The two best teams contested yesterday and there was very little between them. A missed kick being the difference

Very proud of the Sharks and the Bulls had to work very hard for the victory.

Which the Bulls side must now enjoy

Not naii-ed.....but certainly had more bmt and reserves than us. So certainly the better team on the day. But they will not feel so certain of a win against the Sharks in the future . They will need to bring more than they did yesterday. If Bosch is on song....it could easily go the other way.

Bosch cant do it alone on his kicking. He vokken needs to pass the vokken ball to your dangerous backs. He need a mental switch, he want to be the superstar which he obvious aint. He is worse then Naas Botha.

Don't talk about Bosch....talk about Willemse. He is your vokkop. I am happy with Bosch...I have seen his passing game before he was converted into a kicking flyhalf. I am sure he was playing to a game plan...just like the boks did to win us the RWC.....we all hated it but the boks got the results, we didn't...
Your attack on Bosch is because you are buttsore about Willemse.....who is a complete vokken failure at Flyhalf and fullback

Very...but for a reason you won't fathom. Because you don't keep your mates close. All my mates are WP supporters except for one. A Sharks supporter. We tease each other constantly. Watch the rugby together and don't take it as seriously as you lot do. Thats why you get so cut up about my teasing. If you want to stay friends with me here give as much as you take...I am not interested in bitchy friends.
You are a decent bird. Just too intense. Especially about Covid. We entertain every weekend . We have a crowd around today again. Taking down my bird avaries because my trees are growing into them and they are getting smothered. So here we all are sorting it out whilst the women are gossiping in the kitchen and the kids are playing fortnite and Roadblocks upstairs...its all good.

Well done Bulls, enjoy the win. Even though the final was close, Bulls were comfortably the best team in SA over the season.

It was a truly dreadful game. My internet crashed during extra time, but by then I'd lost the will to watch it by then. But it pretty much sums up the entire competition, SA rugby is in a dreadful mess at the moment.

Sharks can be fairly proud of their efforts. It's shame Bosch lost his head, otherwise I think we could have comfortably kept the scoreboard ticking over and built up a good lead. We managed to neutralise Duane and Marco which is no easy task and our breakdown game was much better than theirs. Ox was outstanding again, and must be our best player this season. Considering the difference in experience in coaches, I think Everitt has a bright future.

I loved Nkosi's try, a classic 8-9-15 move that reminded me of the days of Teichmann, Putt, Joubert. Pity it was the only decent set move we could put together in 100 minutes of rugby.

Pity Fassi had such an average game, and Louw and Penxe was fairly anonymous too. But always going to be the way with a kicking gameplan.

For such a young team, they did well and I look forward to seeing the likes of JJ, Henrikse, Richardson growing with us.

I just want to point out that Bosch had nothing to do with Nkosi's try. He would have fukken kicked the ball away.

The Sharks could have SUCH a good attacking backline, but the tactic of just hoofing it away negates their brilliant players from 11-15.
