Bugger. How could I forget that? Saw the film when released back in the days when there was a double feature. And the one chosen to be appropriate was Julian Temple's Punk Can Take ItOvals wrote: Sun Feb 14, 2021 8:14 pm Hazel O'Connor - Will You - Terrific 80s track with brilliant sax solo.

Not 80s, but one very obvious, classic track, we're missing
Brown Sugar - Rolling Stones.
Back to the 80s, Sade's 'Smooth Operator' has an excellent sax interlude.
Another, from the 90s, and very underated. 'Search for the Hero' by M People

More recent. Strong Genesis prog rock vibe to this one. The sax serving to take it to 11.
And there is nothing better in sax world than Morphine. I am willing to die on this hill.

I'm currently reliving my 80's with the new 'Synthwave' sound doing the rounds. Bands like The Midnight, Gunship, Kavinsky, Timecop1983 have an abundance of 80's sax and programmed drum loops and cheesy lyrics about sunsets over Miami beaches and Lamborghinis.....and I am here for it.
Good call
