I can't see anything on NPR about this, so here it is, fresh today: https://www.rugbyworldcup.com/2023/matches

Doesn't matter if you're Scottish or English, you get to visit Marseille, Nice, Lille and Paris.

Scotland start against SA then get a fortnight to recover before playing the relative minnows and then finishing against Ireland.

Boks could lose to Scotland and Ireland & be out by middle of week 3.

The Lyon pitch is going to fudged by the end of the competition.

5 games in 12 days

Toulouse have hardly any decent games.

Draw looks disjointed, to many big games in first couple of days.

Good news for fans who travel over and want tickets for minnows matches. Like 2007.

Maybe but

I liked the look of Eng/Arg then Safrica/Scotland the next day in Marseille only it clashes with Wales/Fiji in Bordeaux.

I have a base to stay which is 50 mins by train from Toulouse and 3+hours to Marseille.
Still a bit peeved they dumped Montpellier as a venue.

Looks like my one Fiji game will be v Winner final qualifying round
Japan v Oceania 1 I think that is likely to be Samoa.

THoughts on ticket prices to follow the teams or city packs? My google translator was getting a workout reading the french comments...but generally they said it was expensive.

Italian fans having to pay more than Scottish and Irish fans? Very odd.

Though the Scotland and Aus packages do seem really really low.

I might actually take a cat B/C one if they stay those prices

€645 for 4 Scotland matches including SA and Ireland in the best seats is a lot less than I expected, given that I paid more than £150 for the Scotland v Samoa group game on its own in 2015 (Cat 1 seats as well). It's still stupid money, obviously.

I'm currently looking at the Ireland and Europe 2 games to go to - Paris and Lille are easy to get to from where I stay.

Currently looking at a Lyon city pack (1 hour away from me) 5 games very close together, should be fantastic.

Going into next week, my hopes:

1 - follow Ireland team pack - (would love to go to Bordeaux and then Paris for the 2 big matches)
2 - if that fails, then probably the Paris tickets
3 - Like Stranger would like to get the Lyon pack since I hope the USA will be there...I will probably get tickets and the US will lose and be 2nd  and 5 decent games..some minnows and bigger games
4 - If that fails, maybe Nice tickets to see the Med, Monaco, etc..

Kind of bummed that they do not give the follow Americas 1 or others pack.

They will have multiple times next year. In 2015 and 2019 I was able to get tickets at the last release (I think two months before) but you have to be diligent and stuck to your computer those days.

What's the family thing they're on about on the site?

4 follow Scotland and 2 follow England.

I hope there's resale like in 2015, otherwise we'll have to really trust some friends for some of the matches!

The "Family" thing is like joining the "Front Row" for priority ticket access last time.

Nope. The family 2023 thing was to pre-register before March 13 so you would be able to buy tickets starting last Monday before general sale starts in April. No discount or such thing, I paid a shitload of money to get my tickets.
Still happy with that, a lot of people aren’t so lucky.
