Agree with all this, would add this ref is nowhere near good enough to officiate at this levelJM2K6 wrote: Sun Apr 04, 2021 3:56 pm I don't think the tacklers hand to the head does the damage. His head fucking bouncing off the floor then Afoa rolling over his head might have more to do with it being a legit HIA
Honestly this game has been fucking dull and the officials have not helped that

They're not ready for this competition yet.
It's funny, as an armchair fan I don't see what should be so different about it than league rugby, but so many teams new to flying high domestically seem to take a couple of years to settle into the Champions Cup.

Exeter being a prime example.sockwithaticket wrote: Sun Apr 04, 2021 4:03 pm They're not ready for this competition yet.

Ref completely ruined the Bristol game - he had a shocker.

Craig Doyle doing legal damage control while Healy blithely accuses French directors of cheating (not unjustly tbf...) is quite funny.

Not sure about that, last 2 games were Bor 10 / Rac 15 and R 32/ B 33.ASMO wrote: Sun Apr 04, 2021 4:02 pm Bristol have been totally naive, Bordeaux smart and efficient, Racing will i suspect anihilate them in the quarters.

It continues to be bizarre the difference between their National, & Club performances.
I think Wales needs one less team, & Scotland needs one more.

Bizarre indeed. Ospreys put out pretty much 1/2 the Welsh ntl side and still lost at home to Newcastle. Dragons not expected to beat Saints on recent form but nonetheless, they lost to a side playing a man short for much of the game. And now this. Could be a humiliation.fishfoodie wrote: Sun Apr 04, 2021 5:14 pmIt continues to be bizarre the difference between their National, & Club performances.

Ospreys 14-0 after 15 minutes having scored two classy tries and looked like running away with it. I mean no disrespect but all Newcastle had to do to win was be competent, which they were.Torquemada 1420 wrote: Sun Apr 04, 2021 5:21 pmBizarre indeed. To cap the w/e off for them, their women lost 53-0 to France.
Wasn’t it professionals against amateurs?Torquemada 1420 wrote: Sun Apr 04, 2021 6:40 pmTo cap the w/e off for them, their women lost 53-0 to France.
I think the French women are semi pro?GogLais wrote: Sun Apr 04, 2021 6:59 pmWasn’t it professionals against amateurs?Torquemada 1420 wrote: Sun Apr 04, 2021 6:40 pmTo cap the w/e off for them, their women lost 53-0 to France.
