Was Mitchell binned for wearing tights ?
How is he playing after his red card last outing?
Played well when he came on, but rather pathetic of him trying to milk a penalty and turn it into a card.
Oh dear
Sorry. I meant, why is he not serving a suspension?Oxbow wrote: Sat Jan 11, 2025 7:28 pmPlayed well when he came on, but rather pathetic of him trying to milk a penalty and turn it into a card.

As for ability. The man is an athletic freak. Faster than most wings. Just a wasted talent.
Three week ban served in rounds 12, 13 and 14 of the Top 14.Torquemada 1420 wrote: Sat Jan 11, 2025 7:48 pmSorry. That's nonsense. He was sent off in a higher level comp and so is free to play in it in the next round!topofthemoon wrote: Sat Jan 11, 2025 8:53 pmThree week ban served in rounds 12, 13 and 14 of the Top 14.Torquemada 1420 wrote: Sat Jan 11, 2025 7:48 pmSorry. If it's great, let us know. You can be the King's food taster.fishfoodie wrote: Sat Jan 11, 2025 9:08 pm Apropos to nothing, but the one player Biography that I might buy for myself instead of getting it as Christmas present, might be Tadhg Beirne's.
I'd love to hear from the man himself just how he had the crazy career path he did, & how he found himself in Wales, & what happened in Leinster that an organization that a lot of teams could only dream to emulate somehow missed such a good player ?
Well I can't promise much, but I will be able to tell you if it's Biography, Fiction, Drama, or AdultTorquemada 1420 wrote: Sat Jan 11, 2025 9:10 pmIf it's great, let us know. Always had the ability but was permanently injured and they had other players who could stay fit.fishfoodie wrote: Sat Jan 11, 2025 9:08 pm Apropos to nothing, but the one player Biography that I might buy for myself instead of getting it as Christmas present, might be Tadhg Beirne's.

You can still defend your Challenge Cup title. The Stormers have a mountain to climb the next two weeks in NH conditions against Racing and Leinster.Sards wrote: Sat Jan 11, 2025 5:19 pm Not the destruction I expected but definitely not a good game by Jordan and Hooker. Too many mistakes. Toulouse will be wondering if they would be able to beat a full strength Sharks. Thought Klinghorn was superb. Du Pont was meh but still better than Jayden. Well I guess we are out of the Championship Cup. Hopefully Eben can grace the Sharks with a match or 2. Now we can focus on the URC
They will beat Racing who are worse than shitOomStruisbaai wrote: Sun Jan 12, 2025 3:10 amYou can still defend your Challenge Cup title. Every chance of defeating Racing. Zero chance of defeating Leinster.OomStruisbaai wrote: Sun Jan 12, 2025 3:10 am

The Stormers always struggle up north because of their open gameplan. So not counting on anything. The have never lost to Leinster since the start of URC. But I agree Leinster is on another level since NieNaber joined them. He coached at the Stormers and know them inside out. It will be a good experience for those returning and youngsters like Roche, de Villiers ext. Yesterday they slot in nicely and give us a bit of depth. Libbok and Gelant is the secret.Torquemada 1420 wrote: Sun Jan 12, 2025 8:17 amEvery chance of defeating Racing. Zero chance of defeating Leinster.OomStruisbaai wrote: Sun Jan 12, 2025 3:10 am

I'm not sure I'd call it home advantage when it's because the travelling team are choosing to send a weak side.JM2K6 wrote: Sun Jan 12, 2025 10:10 am Everyone's French now. Aside from a small handful of sides who can steamroller everyone else, home advantage is absurdly important and a lot of teams are clearly reassessing the value of this tournament to them
Amen. Bring back a level of jeopardy and away teams will scrap to get at least a bonus point.robmatic wrote: Sun Jan 12, 2025 11:20 amI'm not sure I'd call it home advantage when it's because the travelling team are choosing to send a weak side.JM2K6 wrote: Sun Jan 12, 2025 10:10 am Everyone's French now. Everyone knows that they only need to win 2 games to get through to the knockout stage and are selecting accordingly.
The weakness of the URC historically had allowed Leinster to field 2nd teams for the season, preserving their players for the HEC and intls. A gripe from the French and English which was partly responsible for the European schism.OomStruisbaai wrote: Sun Jan 12, 2025 9:06 am The Stormers always struggle up north because of their open gameplan. The only value is the money. If that was marginal, I think plenty of teams would bail and I wouldn't blame them. The format is a sh*tfest.JM2K6 wrote: Sun Jan 12, 2025 10:10 am Everyone's French now.
