After some headless chicken play that was a simple but slick move.
Edit: and the lead lasted all of one minute.

He has shown good pace and has managed to keep the ball alive in the tackle well.
Can anyone connected to North Harbour rugby advise whether his nickname is “Robert”?

Good game so far. A number of handling errors which is to be expected, but still some really skillful passing and runners picking good lines. And of course, plenty of brutal defence.

There's a lot to like about this Harbour team. Ethan Roots and Shaun Stevenson were outstanding tonight. Jacob Pierce wasn't far behind.

Canterbury Rugby will be live-streaming the Ellesmere final (Southbridge vs. Waihora) at 2:45pm today. It will be available on their Facebook page and could be Dan Carter’s final game.

Have to say although I really enjoyed the game and ABs in the teams, I will be quite happy when ABs go into camp. One of the things I really enjoy with Mitre 10 cup is watching all the young guys coming onto the scene.

Canterbury did enough to win last night, but there is no way we win the M10 Cup, or retain the Ranfurly Shield, with Brett Cameron wearing the no.10 jersey.

More like the wheels have been put back on.
But, this side we have has all the potential to implode or explode at any time
23 to 7 to Ykato. 2 tries and DMac is 5/5

I thought it was quite evident that the one nice backline try we scored in the first half came with George Bridge at first receiver. Brett 'miss from in front' Cameron really offered nothing. Time to invest in Fergus Burke.

Ref calls a kick thru a knock on - yeah, righto son. And to rub the knife in he penalises a prop and gives the Lions 50 metres

What's really evident to me is that Ardie Savea lacks the bulk and body size to be an effective no.8, even at lowly Mitre 10 Cup level. He's an openside flanker trying to play a different position. All to protect Sam Cane's precious All Black 7 jersey and captaincy.
