I can remember that JLdP was quite good the few times he played for the boks, has been one of the better performers in those terrible 2016 and 2017 seasons.
And as mentioned above, Dan du Preez has become quite the player the last two years for Sale. They should be in the bok picture and i think they will be.

Locks aren't a concern. We have ample cover. What happened to the great grandson of Jack Slater. Haven't heard much about him lately. Sort of disappeared off the radar.

Yup I think most of our forward pack have ample cover at the moment, not to difficult at the moment to put together a forward pack that will be very competitive against any international team.
For me we have a huge problem at flyhalf, I do not see anyone filling Pollard's spot that will give me any confidence at Bok level. None of the incumbents in SA are playing consistently well in a game and seem to have as many bad errors as good plays in any given game. The guys playing in Europe does not offer much better either. It seems that as soon as an opposition team applies enough pressure on any of these guys, they fold and start producing loads of errors and bad decision making. With Pollard getting a bad injury every few years it seems, there is loads of daylight in quality between him and whoever need to replace him in the Bok team. So we have a bunch of flyhalf options that are pretty decent during club rugby and super rugby, but during test rugby they will most likely screw up more often than not.

At least at scrum half we seem to have several young players that are stepping up to the mark, and getting some good depth there again.

Watched it too yesterday on that YouTube Channel. Great documentary. Those bits and interviews with Eben also caught my attention, he seems to be a really nice guy. Never heard him speak before i think.
Other than that it was great to see the psychological built up to the RWC, beginning with Wellington 2018. It all went exactly according to Rassies plan, it is great to see and hear his thoughts on that in hindsight.
Herschels story is fantastic, what bok debut he had. Best part was Eben: "why didnt you score under the posts??"
