That is probably the worst death bowling I have ever seen.

Magala should be called EightBallOver Magala.

Ha ha. I left with 10 runs to get and 3 wickets in hand. Went for a walk and when I came back saw that we had won. India klapped. Awesome.

Well, there you go.

All India had to do was hit the singles and benefit from the wides and noballs, but no, they had to make a statement in getting the win and in the end they fluffed it

His domestic form justifies his selection.

With 22 balls left, India needed 10 runs with 3 wickets in hand.

How can you possibly lose from that?

Hubris, that's how.

Sadly we'll lise Boucher and Smit just when they got our cricket back on track. CSA had so many presidents that fuck it up royal and now it end up like this.

South Africa sport is pretty fucked with this politics. We are in the culture of blaming racism for vokken ill discipline..

Domestic form is not quite the same as International form.

While I was interested to see what he can do on the International stage, what I've seen thus far doesn't inspire confidence. One could say the same for Markram, given that his scores seldom get going and he seems to give his wicket away, but I think it's worth persevering with him, especially in view of his scores against Australia.

I'm not convinced Magala has the BMT for Internationals. He also looks a little unfit, although I would concede that he is quite solid in the field. I don't like to see an overweight fast bowler, not least because of the added stress it places on the knees and back.

As I said, his domestic form meant that he should be given a chance to prove himself. Indeed, he should be given a couple more games and the chance to prove me wrong.

I am fascinated about what would happen if Magala lost the 3 stones. He would certainly look better but would the loss of power make him lose his pace.

Yes, me too.

Hopefully, they'll get a dietician and a fitness trainer onto it. And, while they're about it, they can look at Shansi, too.

Rink: He seems to do ok. Who opens for WP, maybe he should open instead.

Oom: My Province is Boland, we provided Malan for England.

Rink: Did Boland win any trophies?

Oom: Rinky supports the Dolphins over the National side.

In point of fact, the Dolphins have been dominating Domestic cricket, but Maharaj is their only representative, and I see no problem with that because the Titans and the Lions are strong sides.

I would rather have seen Rickleton replace de Kock rather than Vereynne who I feel is a selection to appease Capetonians and address criticism that the side is too Titans-oriented, rather than on merit. I hope he proves me wrong, but his performances in white ball cricket do not inspire confidence. That said, at least Vereynne at least has some International exposure.
Boland just beat the Dolphins in CSA T20 with 8 runs. Securing semi final spot in the process.
