I am thinking that the T20 World Cup hangover, home conditions and 'bubble life' is going to mean this is a fairly one sided tour.
But at least Kohli will be able to get his batting average back on track.

A promising innings peters out in the final 3 overs. Were on for 180+ and end up at 164/6
NZ with a longer then usual tail.

Yep. A disappointing end to our innings.Thor Sedan wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 3:19 pm A promising innings peters out in the final 3 overs. Were on for 180+ and end up at 164/6

Although a much better hit out than I thought we'd manage considering the team was missing first teamers, coming down from the final and must be absolutely exhausted with all they have been through over the last few months.
That last three overs killed us though - but it was some tail we had going on.

Another toss going the way of the home side.....cause India need all the luck when playing at home?!?

I came into this tour thinking that we'd be humped anyway.
Doesn't help when you are behind the 8 ball 2 t20's in a row due to losing the toss. But let's just let the Indians take this and give them some crumbs......they've had it hard over the last few seasons.

So India win the toss in 3 T20's and now the Test.....such a pointless part of the modern game. Just let the visiting side choose what they want to do. It is hard enough touring another country - why hand even more advantage to the home side? Especially rubbishly predictable wickets like you get in the sub-continent. Might even get some of these countries to actually take preparing fair wickets seriously.
But anyway - OK start by NZ. India getting on top now. But good to see Jamieson bowling well. Southee must be exhausted!
