I literally named a high profile one whose unusual in game vocalisations (if you don't like the term screaming) received a fair amount of attention in the rugby press.

Itoje doesn't scream.

And show some respect, he's the only true world-class player England has capped in the last 20 years.

What a load of tedious bollocks, so you are saying the following were not world class? (all who were capped in the last 20 years). Itoje is good, maybe even world class, but he is far from the only one. Seriously stop the wankfest over everything Saracens, you are making yourself look really stupid.

Guys, what's the point of me putting him on ignore, if 3 of you are going to go and quote him all the time.

Kawazaki says "Saracens best ever, rah, rah, rah, quins/ex-quins are worst in the world, boo, boo, boo. Other players can't hold a candle to saracens, even players that have just joined saracens become 30000% better for it. Saracens haven't cheated and never did anything wrong, everyone is just mean."

There you go. There's 99% of his posts, feel free to just quote that one at random, and leave him on ignore for the rest please :D.

His 'whoops' after winning penalties and to distract at the lineout were pretty loud and shrill... does seem to have largely cut that out , though. Maybe someone had a word.

7 Wasps players with positive Covid tests with the final 10 days away.

It's a real problem. I can't see next season starting on time. They are going to have to push it back from November into the new year some time.

Never mind the implications on the upcoming internationals.

That's a real shame. I hope they have a full squad to pick from, they're going to need everything they've got.

Fingers crossed.

Correction, 4 players, 3 staff. Hopefully they have time to do something, but it's not great prep.

It's rather odd to contrast with the TdF, where they had hundreds of people; competitors & support staff in tight contact, for three weeks, & managed to come out in good shape, & completed the competition.

The Giro then, has made a pigs ear, by comparison, turning in numerous positives, & ruining the competition; because they failed to see that the main players existed in secure bubbles thru the end of the competition.

It's not rocket science; it just needs proper planning, & a group of people who are willing & committed to stay the course.

If the Six Nations teams are serious, & do it properly, they can make it happen, & demand a premium price from the broadcasters, & advertisers by proxy; if the deliver a full, competitive competition !

May or may not be anything in that, but the TdF also had the advantage of happening a month ago.

I think the bigger factor was that Politicians made an early commitment that it would happen; & the planning & organization flowed from that. The Giro by contrast happened in almost the same way as previous editions, just later in the year.

The TdF has teams in their own bubbles in individual Hotels; the Giro has stories of multiple teams, & the Public in the same hotel; a recipe for disaster !

The 6N should be a piece of piss by comparison; with only a small number of destinations, & the potential for the same hotel/training facilities being used for visitors in every nation. Deep clean between visitors, & the visitor brings all their own people, from the cleaners to the place kickers.

It's just a matter of will, & organization.

Didn't even realise he'd picked one up. With the games coming so thick and fast it's been more difficult than usual to keep up with all the squad developments.

He went off injured against Tigers at the back end of September. They're making positive noises about having fixed his long running calf woes so maybe that's the end of it now

Fingers crossed for him. Calf injuries'll suck for any athelete, they must be particularly awkward and at risk of recurrence if not quite properly healed with tight five forwards.

Bristol apparently being put on standby in case more Wasps players test positive.

https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2020/ ... ovid-tests

Reckon Exeter would absolutely bury them if it came to that.

Good news (potentially) from a Wasps perspective is that the 4 players who tested positive are now confirmed to have been academy lads, so that would hopefully reduce the likelihood of the senior squad, specifically the matchday 23, having been infected.
