Looser than Lions vs Cheetahs at Ellis Park on a Friday evening. Very un 6 nation-like.

I have to say, after months of lockdown the lack of magnificent manes is deeply disappointing. Bloody hair clippers.

How do refs not notice this? Two minutes wasted fucking around setting up scrums

Great counter rucking, but Daly copped a stray boot.

TBH, Fra can have no complaints now if Eng win it. Sure, it's "easier" (because you have to) play with ball in hand when you are behind, but you play kick and defend, you risk that.

There was no reason to go away from the game plan of the 1st half.

Now that was a bullshit penalty. Earl fell over, got up and won it...

Excellent win. Plenty to grumble about but it was good positive rugby.

Wrong call, but you can't overturn that. Some of the French 'turnovers' were like that too, but weren't checked.

Poms stood up. Great comeback after weeks of dross.

But France blew that by going conservative from 60 mins instead of putting their foot on England’s neck. Pity.

Why is the commentator talking about France grand slam??

And you lose by knocking on when not looking at what you're doing.

Good game, still feel like there are some cracks being papered over. If France had showed an ounce of ambition in the last 20 minutes they could have done it.

 it was as clear and obvious as it gets. dived in, missed the ball, was on his knees and elbows.

I found that truly bizarre. I have never, ever seen anything like that reversed.

That pen reversal was bizarre. He did make the wrong call initially, but I don't think I've ever seen a reversal for a technical offence after it's been shown on the big screen.

You could be doing that at a good proportion of pen decisions that are made at the ruck.

Anyway. Good win. Happy with that
