An oldie, but a goodie.
Think this was from a riot a decade or so ago, but appeared in a BelTel article this morning. An absolute classic

Jim was up in Belfast yesterday and couldn't believe the number of huge UVF flags flying. I was driving up around Stormont. Sort it out man
Just the annual dickwaving exercise from the plebs. They are a lost cause, led by a political class of fuckwits.
Best to avoid East Belfast, Portadown, Carrick, Larne Ballymena etc., this time of year with ROI reg. licence plates . . .

Testing for impacts from micro-meteorites.
A small aluminium sphere with a diameter of 12 millimetres and weighing only 1.7 grams impacts an 18-centimetre thick aluminium block. The sphere was shot at a speed of 24,500 km/h

This would equate to a 2300 meter diameter meteorite, given that the earth's crust is about 35km in thickness... an epic hole.

Part of me wants to know what on earth you entered into Google that gave that as an answer but part of me says "Don't go there!"

We had a major typhoon hit us last week, with some serious flooding and several roads collapsed and needing major repair. Then the evening of the day after the typhoon finally passed, this was nature's gift to us. You could hear thunder in the dark clouds in the foreground but the rest was a stunning display of nature's beauty.
