Love to see that. Newcastle dawdling back to halfway after conceding a pen try and yellow card, ref calls time off so that they can't run the clock down on the sin bin.

How long has Charlie Savala been at Saints and is he getting much game time?

According to his player profile on Saints' website, he arrived November '23 and has two prior appearances.

Saints play some lovely rugby - even missing 7 due to England call ups. A pleasure to watch.

Something comes together for Northampton at last. Unsurprisingly they've looked a lot less slick with so many of their first choice backs away with England. Still produciing plenty of linebreaks though and it was only a matter of time before they held onto the ball and made one of them pay.

That did look more like a Pat Lam sides try

Fifth try for Saints, probably game over now bar something incredibly unlikely from Newcastle.

Playing like Falcons

Indeed, Bristol getting more competition from the clock than Bath is certainly an upset for the form book.
Obviously Bath are missing Obano, Ewels, Barbeary, Underhill, Spencer, Muir and Ojomoh, but there's still a lot of their regular team on the pitch.

Saints 10 wins on the trot
Falcons didn’t score again after the 20th minute

This is ridiculous. It would defy physics for that ball not to have touched the ground.

Had one of those in the Falcons - Saints game too, offside player makes tackle and results in yellow + pen try.
Mental half of rugby.

An incredibly dim penalty from the Bristol lock. They're 9 points to the good with just minutes left in the game, it's deeply unnecessary.

Speaking of unnecessary...
What were Bath doing fucking around in their 22 like that? There were 2 and a half minutes on the clock, more than enough time for them to clear and win the ball back.

Both teams up for this one.
Pitch and drier conditions helping to make the game fast.

4th game in 2 years! Jeez, I knew Devoto had a torrid time with injury lately, but I didn't realise it was that bad.
