Not outside of the Times article where the bloke has a whine about his broken glasses and that he 'was only giving him (Hill) some banter'

Will be interesting to see what actually happened. Ultimately Hill will likely be in some bother. On one hand you can't go Cantona/Brennan on the punters so he'll have to take his punishment, on the other though there's a certain amount of fuck around and find out energy for the Bath fan.

He was a Worcester fan, apparently, not that it really makes much difference.

I gather it's been referred to the police.

My expectation is similar to yours - too many beers and poorly thought-through 'banter' and he's found out the hard way how strong an angry 18 stone lock actually is.

Agree with that though he seemed a bit out of sorts in the semi final. Hopefully, he'll be back at full power on Saturday along with Beno.

Having Will Stuart as a replacement is almost Saffa levels of front row depth.

Du Toit offers a hell of a lot around the park, beyond being a very good scrummager.

Thomas has been a great talent from his Paarl Boys days. Following in the footsteps of Frans Malherbe. South Africa are so blessed with TH props. Wilko Louw and Neethling Fouche are also in great form.

Just wanted to pop in here and say it’s great that both teams will be in their traditional colours this weekend. No wankers taking an opportunity to promote a third kit / one off final kit etc. Good to see.

Amen to that and they’re a reasonable approximation of their original colours as well!

Augustus is going to have his work cut out keeping that ball alive off the back of a retreating scrum.

Saints might want to think about relly cutting down on knock ons.

Alternatively you could get a red card and lose your team the final........

Nah. Seen too many games with a red, even an early one, go down to the wire or even result in the team a man down winning.

It's only game over when there's a quality gulf between the teams and I don't think there is here.

On a pitch with this width and the manner both these sides play, this will be a blow out at 20+ now.

Have to agree, you occasionally get a good game with a red card for example the RWC because South Africa play absolutely no rugby. But Saints already exploit space Vs 15 and Bath will have to go ultra defensive.

I won't be watching.

20 minute red, long ban, salary reduction for the red card and they'll learn much quicker.

I get your angle on this. A whole season's work ruined by one moronic action. BUT the onus is on the players. They've had how long to grasp this issue? Ironic after the tribute to Burrow.

This. 100%.

However, they may just be too stupid to remember how they were taught to tackle when youngsters.
