I hope somebody whispers the word "fanny" in that centres ear for the rest of the match. Fair decision but the whining was deeply vaginal

If anything, Pollock's hype train is struggling to keep up with his performances.

Didn't expect anything from the game so two bonus points isn't bad. More importantly we played much better than we did against Leicester last week. Hopefully Pollock will be fit for Europe.

Best team won. Not seen quite so credulous a ref in a long time, when I used to throw those passes at stationary players I got told to fuck off...

Fun game to watch as a neutral with a loud crowd. No one’s fault but if Northampton had had a kicker/10 they’d have won. Pollock really is exceptional, an arrogant see you whatever but he can back it up. Ford squaring up to people was good fun. Well worth watching on catch up

Henry Pollock certainly looks very very gifted.

Born in Oxfordshire, schooled in Buckinghamshire, learned to play club rugby in Northamptonshire, capped for England Schools, England U18s, England U20s, England A, and England...

...and still the Jocks call him a Scottish poach.

Just the latest in a long line. Sickening

There is a certain proprietary tone some Scots seem to take on as soon as they find out a player is Scotland qualified. Even if it's a grandparent qualification and the player has never been to Scotland it's assume he's their player and if he chooses to play for someone else then he's been poached.

Perhaps it's because just two pro teams gives them such a shallow player pool, but it's like they're playing Pokemon and "gotta catch 'em all".

Yep, certainly an improvement. Still far too many unforced errors, particularly knock ons mind you.

You never know. Though there's a long queue of more experienced backrow options to select from.

He wouldn't look out of place but no chance imho.

Just in terms of English backrow options, I think Pollock would still be behind;

Jack Willis
Ben Earl
Ben and Tom Curry
Courtney Lawes
Sam Underhill

I think as well that there is the odd poster on here and a sub-section of Scottish fans elsewhere who have (gasp) a significant antipathy towards England, and cannot grasp that it is not shared by everyone else of Scottish descent. So they’re left mystified that these guys would even consider turning out for us

Montoya has had a shocker all day at the line out and it has finally cost them dear. Go ahead score and a BP for Sarries.

Steward being skinned repeatedly as per, for all his skills he is simply too slow to play back 3

He’s not a happy bunny at Leicester being denied a try for a fairly blatant offside, shockingly

Wasn't that obvious considering the scrum half buggering around with it dribbling out. Considering how many closing down players are not onside when you freeze frame things.

It was pretty blatant in real time tbf, timing was well off

It really isn't because the 9 is slow with it. Looks worse in real time than slow.

Huge win. Dan’s lineout horror show made that a tough one to close out but otherwise a brilliant team performance.

Excellent game of rugby played by both sides, good standards and great entertainment.

An upset Crumbie Terrace really is one of the great sounds in English rugby

What is this compulsion tigers have with continually kicking away good ball ??

Chasing the game & they kept kicking the ball to Sarries like they were the ones in front.

Sarries deserved that. Henderson and Wells are decent back ups but journeymen compared to chessum and Martin.

On the disallowed try - it is decision that wouldn't have been given anywhere else on the pitch because of the outcome and video ref. i don't have much empathy with 9s dribbling it back though glad the lining up of forwards is not allowed.

Obviously need to declare an interest but for me whilst I totally agree 9s get too much leeway on this occasion he just plain got his timing wrong and was 2/3 steps offside before the ball was out.

Thought overall it was a fantastic advert for the prem, way more than the try fests yesterday. Hell of a game from both sides in front of a healthy and loud crowd

You guys look like you're heading for a good old fashioned set of clubs in the playoffs if it stays as is. Bath, Leicester, Gloucester and Bristol. All long standing proper clubs (I know there may be issues with some ownerships).

It's exactly that.

And anyway, if a fox is born in a byre it doesn't make it a cow.

And another thing, when Freddy Douglas and Henry Pollock went head to head for the U20s Douglas was the better player, even in defeat.
