Just like they'll hate on coaches, it's normal. My wish is that come the World Cup, those players and coaches prove their hatters wrong like they did in the last World Cup. So that those supporters sit with egg on their faces like the eggheads they are.
Sadly the eggheads are such kak supporters that they dont acknowledge being wrong even if it is for their country. Really sad.

He is a born and bred South African. Dad was a Jewish Nigerian man. Mum is a Saffer. 100% eligible and I agree completely he's fast playing himself into contention.

He make a perfect combination with Fourie and Engelbrecht. His lineout work was great, allowing BJDixon to damaged the Bulls.

Have to say, on current form I don't think Mapimpi should be with the Bok squad on this seasons form

His try that got taken back for a forward pass was a very strong individual effort from him. Also his tackle on a certain ST try in the first half.

Don't forget our Boks have been rested a lot this year, this is basically the start of their season now. Other players are in the middle of their season and at their peak. If you drop Mapimpi you lose a lot of speed and one of our best finishers, you also lose the combination and linking play with Am.

I was hoping he would continue where he left off in recovering form earlier in the 22/23 season, but over last year seems to be snatching at things, not winning the aerial contests we normally expect him to, making laboured and oft butchered passes, getting beaten on the outside, and whilst he may be looking for work inside, just not finding it like he used to with those surprise turnovers or ball slowing just inside the 15m.

But perhaps more symptom of confidence and current Sharks set-up and frenzied Bok play.

Shit news! Start Kwagga at openside? I like a Kwagga, Jasper, PSDT starting backrow. Thor on the bench to close out games. Mostert, Fourie as back up loosies. I reckon a good balance of height, carrying, jackalling and linking in those combos.

I can't even vouch for what form Kwagga and PSdT are in at the moment. Or Mostert.
